Drawing on years of experience in cinematography and a deep appreciation for analog mediums, TJ blends classic film techniques with the emotion of your big day, creating wedding films that feel as timeless as the love they celebrate.

My name is Ariel and I got into the wedding industry to make wedding films fun again!! American Rose Films is a motion picture wedding studio led by Justin and Steph, partners in life and work. Based in Connecticut and traveling widely, they are drawn to the art of noticing. Their films, made primarily using 16mm & Super 8mm analog film, capture the texture and feeling of a day as it unfolds. Each frame is exposed to light & developed through a chemical process.
