“We had such a great time working with Sasha and her team of photographers and videographers for our wedding. Sasha was always quick to respond to us starting from our initial inquiry to everything else that came after, and especially when discussing changes to ensure we were on the same page before moving forward. She was very easy to work with and spent ample time with us during planning to ensure we were comfortable with the photographers' and videographers' styles. She also ensured the team was well aware of all the events and moments that we wanted captured. The team was fantastic on the wedding day. We had a full day with 3 different stops between Brooklyn and Manhattan that included two Chinese tea ceremonies, and pre-wedding photos all in the hours before the ceremony and reception. The team arrived early to each location, never missing a beat. Every moment that we asked for was beautifully captured in our photos and videos. We purchased three photo albums, one for ourselves which was included in the package, and two more for our respective families. Our albums were unfortunately in production and shipped during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, the albums were in poor condition. We brought this up to Sasha's attention and she immediately agreed that they were not up to her standards and expectations. Sasha did not hesitate to call us and presented us with a couple of alternatives within a day. Ultimately, the new albums came two weeks later and were even better than what we hoped for. They are perfect! We love our photos, videos, and photo albums. Sasha and her team were very easy to work with and always listened to our input. We highly recommend Sasha Chou Photography to other couples for their big day!”

We reviewed and interviewed several photographers before making our decision and chose Roge and Fernando because of their photographic style, professionalism and warm personalities. Roge and Fernando were hands down the very best vendors and people to work with before during and after the event. Prior to the wedding we we able to connect several times to discuss the timeline and all details leading up to the big day, they both always had great input and were immensely helpful leading up to the day. We could always count on Roge to help us iron out the details of the timeline and Fernando has an excellent eye for photography and was able to give us direction when choosing some of the spots to take photos in. We decided to do a first look and walk around prior to our wedding to get some shots of just us before heading to the venue. They were able to take so many amazing pictures during that time and we ended up event having a bit of time to relax before the ceremony, because we were 30 minutes ahead of schedule! The balance they create as a team is great because Roge is able to direct Fernando and manage his time to best capture more moments and Fernando creates these wonderful images. The final outcome of our photos was absolutely breath taking, we did not have a videographer and it was not necessary because Fernando was able to capture all if the emotion, movement and feeling of our wedding in every shot. The reception the photographs have so much energy that when scrolling thru our final photos we were able to re-live our wedding again! The mood, lighting, energy and feeling of our special day is captured in these images forever and I cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond for us. I would recommend them to anyone. After having a bad experience with another wedding planner, we found Chelsea Song Events. And thank god, we did. Chelsea immediately put my partner and I at ease. Within a week, Chelsea made us a shared document/spreadsheet where she organized all our vendors, to-do lists, timelines, etc. When I talk about everything was organized (even when to write vows, parent gifts, when to organize bathroom baskets and what to put in them), I mean everything.. Having access to this helped our Type A personalities feel so much better. For months, we met on a regular basis, and Chelsea always came with an agenda to help us focus on what needed to be done or updates about what she had done during those two weeks. There was full transparency which we really appreciated. After hiring some wonky vendors (before we met Chelsea), she pushed to make sure she personally had meetings with them and prepared them to deliver on the day of. She also created design mockups and floor plans so that we could really envision what the venue would look like. The month of the wedding, Chelsea handled everything having to do with vendors and the venue (double checking things, COIs, contacts), giving us brides the time to relax and get excited for the big day (without a to-do list ourselves). And day of, wow! She killed it. She and her team handled everything so that we didn’t have to. We had 180 people and a dozen vendors. But still, every time she saw us, Chelsea assured us everything was perfect (AKA she was putting out fires left and right, but we didn’t know that). And we ran EXACTLY on time, thanks to her. We also heard from so many of our vendors that she was amazing to work with on that side too. It’s difficult to put your trust into someone when planning a wedding, but speaking for myself and my partner, you can trust Chelsea every step of the way. She truly cares about her couples, and she loves what she does. She’s always reachable, great to bounce ideas off of, and wants to make your dream wedding come true. While being a perfectionist planner, Chelsea is also the kindest person. We can’t recommend her enough.”
