“We got married at Mountainville Manor yesterday and it couldn’t have gone better. Lauren and James flawlessly executed our many many requests, accommodated our food allergies, and made sure that everything ran smoothly so that I, the bride, could (finally) relax. We used two of their recommended vendors: Gillian the florist and Matthew Lask the DJ and they were both fantastic. If you get married here, my one piece of advice is to listen to Mary when she reminds you to eat, otherwise you will miss the delicious food! We couldn’t be happier with our experience.”

“My husband and I had truly had the wedding of our dreams at The Madison Hotel! From visiting the venue (which was my husband’s first choice) all the way to our special day, we received great customer service and guidance. Joseph Zimmerman was our sales associate, he gave us a great tour of the venue and kept us on track with deadlines. Having our guests be able to stay at the hotel was a great perk since my husband had a lot of family flying in. What sold us was the breathtaking Conservatory where we had our ceremony. Man, what a beautiful space! Our guests raved about cocktail hour and all of the food options that were available. Having our reception in the Grand Ballroom was perfect because we had plenty of room to dance! Jose Bonilla was our Maitre’D for the evening, and he provided constant attentiveness and hospitality from ceremony to reception! Even our getting ready suites had mirrors and chairs in our wedding colors. I truly appreciated the attention to detail! We would recommend the Madison Hotel to anyone looking to have a wedding without the stress of finding so many additional vendors. The Catering options are plentiful, the room blocking process is super easy and the beautiful spaces speak for themselves and don’t need much additional decorations (save on those florals!!) Thank you so much to the team at Madison Hotel for making our special day one to remember!! The Richmonds”

“I don't even know where to begin — our June 13th, 2025 wedding at the Olde Mill Inn was truly everything we dreamed of and more. From the moment we arrived to the final sendoff, it felt like we had stepped straight into a Hallmark movie. The Setting We used both the Grain House and the Grand Ballroom, and each space had its own charm. Our ceremony took place in the courtyard, and it was absolutely magical — the gardens, the stone walls, the romantic ambiance... it all felt timeless and intimate. We had about 100 guests, and everyone kept commenting on how beautiful and well-thought-out everything was. The Team Lea and John were nothing short of amazing. Lea was with us every step of the way through the planning process, answering all our questions (and calming my nerves more than once). John, our maître d’, was a dream on the day of — he made sure we were always taken care of, that everything ran smoothly, and that we actually got to eat during cocktail hour and dinner (which so many brides don’t!). The Experience It’s honestly hard to pick one thing I loved most because everything — the service, the food, the atmosphere, the convenience of having our guests stay on-site — was perfect. The staff made us feel like royalty, but also like family. Every detail felt intentional and personalized. It wasn’t just a wedding; it was an experience. A Moment I’ll Never Forget There was a quiet moment after the ceremony, before heading to cocktail hour, when John pulled us aside, gave us a glass of champagne, and let us soak it all in — just the two of us. That pause, in the middle of such a whirlwind day, meant the world. Final Thoughts If you're considering the Olde Mill Inn for your wedding, don’t hesitate. The entire day felt like it was lifted from a movie set, but it was our movie — beautiful, heartfelt, and joy-filled. We’ll forever be grateful to Lea, John, and the entire team for giving us the best day of our lives. Forever grateful, Danielle and James”

“Where do I even begin? We got married at the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn on May 23, 2024, and it was nothing short of perfect. The entire wedding planning process was made easy thanks to everyone at the OldMill Inn and Grain House. They are very responsive, which is crucial when planning a wedding. My grandmother and grandfather had their wedding reception here back in 1957, so I knew I wanted to meet with them to discuss having my wedding there. It was the first and only venue we met with. After going on a tour and discussing the different packages with Lea, I was sold. They take care of your accommodations, catering, bar, cake, tables, chairs, etc. My wedding planning “to-do” list was cut in half! Everyone is so accommodating and they really work with you to make sure your day goes perfectly. So many guests told us how they never experienced wedding food to this level. Everything was DELICIOUS! Better yet, we actually got to eat as the bride and groom. The property itself is gorgeous. John was our Matre d’ and he was the best! He made sure we stayed on time, he ran food from the cocktail hour to me and my husband when we were taking photos, and he coordinated with our vendors so we didn’t have to worry. His efforts did not go unnoticed. Once again I had guests come up to me and tell me how amazing he is. I also had guests reach out after to tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. All of our vendors were fantastic but the Old Mill Inn and Grain House really did the bulk of the work to make it an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself was wonderful to stay in, everything was so clean and the breakfast was delicious. I wouldn’t change a thing about my wedding day, everything was perfect and I really have the Old Mill Inn and the Grain House to thank for that. I would recommend the Old Mill Inn and the GrainHouse to anyone planning a wedding. It really is the ONLY choice in my opinion. You will not be disappointed.”

“Our wedding day felt absolutely perfect, and this venue played such a huge role in making it unforgettable. One of the things we loved most is how versatile the space is. The venue offers two distinct atmospheres, which made it feel completely unique and customizable. The classic ballroom is elegant, timeless, and beautifully designed—perfect for a romantic and refined reception. Then there’s the rustic cocktail hour space, which adds so much charm and warmth with its cozy, inviting vibe. What’s even more amazing is that you can flip the experience depending on your vision, whether you want a more rustic ceremony and cocktail hour followed by a formal ballroom reception, or the reverse. It really gives couples the freedom to create a wedding that feels true to their style, and our guests loved experiencing both settings throughout the night. Beyond the space itself, everything was executed flawlessly. The staff was attentive, organized, and genuinely cared about making our day special. We had the opportunity & pleasure to work with Nicole & Michelle (Event Planners), Frank (maître d') & Amalia (Bridal Attendant) who made the entire process smooth and stress-free, which meant we could fully enjoy every moment. If you’re looking for a venue that offers both elegance and rustic charm in one place and the flexibility to make it your own this is it. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding. Thank you sooo much Stone House at Stirling Ridge for making our day everything we hoped it would be!”

“From the very first tour at American Beauty Events/Embassy Suites in Berkeley Heights, we already knew this place was special. Walking into the stunning glass house absolutely wowed us and instantly made us feel like our wedding vision could truly come to life there. What made the experience even more unforgettable was the incredible team behind it all. Lynda, the director, was an absolute blessing throughout the entire planning process. Her communication, coordination, warmth, and genuine care made us feel supported every step of the way. She truly held our hands through it all and made what could have been stressful feel seamless and exciting. The chefs went above and beyond to create an amazing menu while also thoughtfully incorporating and tweaking dishes to honor our culture. Every bite was incredible, and our guests are still talking about the food! The add-ons, especially the lechon and hors d’oeuvres, were phenomenal and such a huge hit during the celebration. Christina was also wonderful in helping coordinate everything on the day of the wedding, making sure things flowed beautifully. The rooms for us and our guests were beautiful, comfortable, and made the entire weekend feel even more special and relaxing. And an extra special shoutout to Patty and Sonia — words truly cannot express our gratitude for these two amazing women. They did so much more than catering or event service. Patty especially took such incredible care of John and I throughout the entire night — from helping bustle my wedding gown, making sure we actually ate, reminding us to hydrate, checking in on us constantly, and even making sure we had moments to breathe and enjoy the celebration. That level of care, kindness, and attentiveness meant the world to us. We genuinely felt so loved and taken care of. We are beyond grateful to the entire Embassy Suites Berkeley Heights/American Beauty Events team for making our wedding day feel magical, smooth, warm, and unforgettable. Thank you for treating us not just like clients, but like family. We will forever cherish the memories you helped create.”

“Don’t overlook the Short Hills Hilton for your wedding! It was the perfect location for our big day, offering a central gathering spot where our guests didn’t have to worry about traveling throughout the day. We explored several traditional venues, but none felt as right as this one. We had a November wedding and didn’t expect to have an outdoor ceremony, but the hotel’s lovely patio space was a wonderful option, and surprisingly, the noise from the JFK Parkway wasn’t an issue. For our indoor ceremony, the venue features a permanent enclosed tent structure. At first glance, it didn’t seem like much, but with the help of the event coordinator Vivian Cohen’s help and coordination with our florist, the space was transformed into something breathtaking. The reception space was spacious and perfect for our 170 guests—large enough for everyone to feel comfortable but not so big that it felt empty. Guests still rave about the food and service! The chef and maître d' truly deserve all the praise. The hors d’oeuvres were diverse and delicious, from sliders to a pasta bar to sushi. We chose the salmon and short ribs for dinner, which we selected during a private tasting session. The hotel grounds, filled with foliage, were perfect for photos, especially as we were lucky to have beautiful fall colors for our shoot. Victoria at the Hilton was incredibly helpful with coordinating room blocks, hotel room gift bags, and storage. Vivian was a dream to work with—she was welcoming, communicative, and made everything run smoothly. Her checklist was a lifesaver for keeping track of details, and she was hands-on with day-of coordination, ensuring everyone knew where they needed to be and helping with the little touches that made everything perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help make our wedding day unforgettable!”

“I am so in love with the Park Savoy and am so incredibly happy that we chose them for our reception! This estate is so timeless, elegant, and classy. The building itself is so naturally beautiful and has so much charm and character. I kept my own decor minimal because the building itself is just so beautiful. The whole staff was so helpful and organized during the planning process. They helped put all my anxieties at ease and allo They truly blew all of my expectations out of the water! Jess was my maitre d and she truly was my lifeline and was just absolutely amazing! Jess made sure everything I wanted to do was done and would tell us when certain events would take place or give us timing updates etc. I literally didn’t have to worry about one thing. I had the best bridal attendants. They had earpieces and were constantly communicating which helped everything run smoothly. I did not worry about one little detail, they got everything correct and helped bring my vision to life! I was so well taken care of, I never pushed in my own chair and the bridal attendants even made sure I was taken care of if I had to go to the bathroom. They took such good care of my parents and husband as well. We all felt like we were the only wedding they ever had and they had one earlier in the day and you would’ve never known! All of my guests have said over and over again how they have NEVER been to a wedding at a place like that. They were blown away by the amount of food at the cocktail hour not to mention how the food was displayed! Several of my friends and family who have attended many weddings and even had weddings themselves, said that Park Savoy was like nothing they had ever seen. One of my bridesmaids said it felt like a movie. Every table had its own waiter and every guest was taken care of with such great service. The whole night ran without any issues and Jess made sure everything was taken care of. The level of service and attention to detail that the whole staff has is honestly so refreshing and I truly felt like I was a celebrity! They know what they are doing and they are truly worth every penny! There is not one thing I would go back and change. I would just love to relive the day over again because it truly goes by so fast! I HIGHLY recommend this venue and would be happy to speak with anyone who is considering as these candid reviews helped me soo much in my booking and planning process. I will say- DO NOT HESITATE!!”

“Liberty Hall Museum helped to make my Mid-September wedding an absolute dream. We had our ceremony in front of the lush apple orchard, our cocktail hour around the rose garden that was still blooming and our reception under the tent. We utilized the Carriage House during cocktail hour and for dessert. Liberty Hall staff, as always, was warm, helpful, accommodating and so, so patient. There was never an issue and they were quick to fix anything before it was noticed. Our photographer was so excited about all the different opportunities for unique and beautiful photos throughout the grounds, over the course of the evening. I have a hard time finding the words that truly express what an amazing location Liberty Hall is. Almost 5 years later my husband and I are still receiving compliments about our wedding day.”

The Ryland was the first place we toured when we were looking at wedding venues, and nowhere else came close to comparing. “My son and daughter-in-law's wedding was two months ago, and we are still basking in the glow of that beautiful day—and for so many reasons, one of them being our experience with Raul Ruiz and his entire team at The Grove. From the moment we began planning, Raul was an extraordinary partner. I affectionately nicknamed him “The Maestro,” and I think that says it all. His years of experience, including planning his own wedding, give him an incredible understanding of what it takes to create a truly special celebration. Raul asks the right questions, makes thoughtful suggestions, and pays attention to details you may not even know to consider. He guided us with professionalism, compassion, and kindness, while leading his team with confidence and respect. One moment perfectly demonstrated his expertise. We had planned to hold the ceremony at the Carriage House, but 45 minutes before the ceremony, it started to rain. We had to quickly move the ceremony indoors. The Grove team immediately went into action, setting up the chairs and transforming the room in what seemed like no time at all. There was no panic—just a team of professionals who knew exactly what to do. Our guests would never have known we had changed plans at the last minute. And the team! To say they were attentive would be an understatement. We are still talking about our attendants. They anticipated what we needed, made sure we had food and drinks, steamed garments, checked in on us, and handled the little things that could easily have become big things—all with warmth and a smile. Our Maitre d’, Vas, was another standout. He was always nearby, quietly watching over the celebration and ready to step in whenever needed. His calm, professional leadership gave us tremendous confidence. And then there is The Grove itself. The venue was beautiful, the size was perfect, and the facilities were wonderful. The Bridal Suite and Groom’s Suite were beautiful and comfortable and gave everyone a wonderful place to prepare and gather before the celebration. Our 200 guests were so impressed by the cocktail hour. The variety was incredible, and everything was delicious. Some guests actually thought the cocktail hour was the reception because there was so much food and so much to enjoy! Dinner was equally impressive. People are still talking about the filet mignon, and my branzino was fantastic. The chef and culinary team truly delivered. The Bridal Suite and Groom’s Suite were beautiful and comfortable and gave everyone a wonderful place to prepare and gather before the celebration. But perhaps what means the most to us is that our son and his bride were so happy and so proud of their wedding. The Grove helped bring their vision to life and fulfill their dreams for the day. As parents, there is no greater gift than seeing your children genuinely happy on one of the most important days of their lives. When you entrust a venue with such an important family celebration, you want beautiful surroundings and wonderful food—but you also want people who will care about your day and know exactly what to do when the unexpected happens. That is what we found at The Grove. Raul and his team didn't simply execute our wedding. They helped us experience it. And for that, we will always be grateful.”

Why Choose New Jersey for Your Wedding Day?

New Jersey gives you four distinct regions with unique wedding settings and styles to match any vision. September tops the charts for wedding inquiries here, so you'll want to plan ahead if you're eyeing a date during peak season. The varied landscapes mean you can find everything from waterfront elegance to historic charm without traveling far.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can You Find in New Jersey?

The venue scene in New Jersey covers just about every style imaginable. Luxury estates like Park Chateau in East Brunswick offer stunning French-inspired architecture with gorgeous European gardens that make for incredible photo backdrops. If water views are your thing, places like Liberty House showcase breathtaking NYC skyline panoramas right alongside the water. History buffs fall in love with venues like Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange with its historic grounds and Mediterranean gardens. Modern couples gravitate toward industrial spaces such as The Art Factory in Paterson where contemporary design meets character and uniqueness.

How Much Should You Budget for a New Jersey Wedding?

Wedding venues in New Jersey typically run between $8,600 and $10,600, which falls right in line with the national range of $6,500-$12,000. Your overall costs will scale with your guest count.
