However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

Mike kept the party going and the only time our guests were leaving the dance floor was to grab another drink. Even our friends and family who don't dance were out on the dance floor tearing it up thanks to Mike. He did a great job mixing songs and keeping the energy high. We had so many guests tell us after the wedding it was the best music and dance floor of any wedding they'd been to. “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“If you’re even thinking about booking them do it. Immediately. Run, don’t walk. Your future self (and your dance floor) will thank you. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ team for our wedding. The ceremony went perfectly from volume levels, sound cues, and mic levels. Then came the reception where they absolutely crushed it!! The whole day was handled perfectly. Micah was incredible at reading the room and keeping the dance floor full the entire night. Every transition was smooth, every song was a banger, and the momentum never dropped The mixing from start to finish was spot on with no awkward gaps or weird transitions. Since the wedding, we’ve had compliment after compliment from guests saying it was the best dance floor music they’ve ever experienced, which says a lot. We’re attaching some photos, and honestly they speak for themselves. You can see how packed the dance floor was and how much fun everyone was having all night!
