We used Something Borrowed Blooms for our night before party/Sri Lankan ceremony and I couldn't be more happy. The set-up, breakdown, and return was easy enough and our guests had no idea the flowers were artificial! We were able to save money but still had stunning flowers for the ceremony and reception. I'll now always recommend SBB, especially for brides who are trying to stay in-budget and still want to have full-service florals.

We are so thrilled that we chose Petal Station for my daughter’s florals for her wedding. They were professional, responsive, and had so many fantastic ideas to help make the vision my daughter had come to fruition. From the zoom calls trying to decide on what types of flowers to use for bouquets, centerpieces, etc. to the actual wedding day (that had a couple of snags on our end but Kitty was so patient and accommodating), Petal Station was just the best. My daughter’s bouquet was exquisite and the bridesmaids bouquets were just beautiful. The centerpieces all turned out exactly the way we had envisioned. Thank you so much, Petal Station for helping our daughter’s wedding be the beautiful event that it was!

Darlene and her team at DLN Florist did an exceptional job for our daughter’s wedding at Fishermen’s Inn in Elburn, IL. From our first Zoom meeting through every call and email, Darlene was thoughtful, professional, and truly collaborative. She listened to our daughter's vision for a “rustic” formal barn wedding and incorporated her favorite flowers bringing it to life beautifully. Her flower and design suggestions perfectly complemented the venue and wedding party attire. She was also mindful of cost, repurposing arrangements from the ceremony for the reception. On the wedding day, Darlene and her assistant were attentive and flawlessly in command eliminating any stress related to the floral details. We felt completely confident in her care and couldn’t recommend DLN Florist more highly.

Sherri (Goodlove Arts) is a very kind and creative woman who helped me bring my floral vision to life! I loved that she is a small business owner and can give you the time and attention you need in planning a wedding. I gave her the refrence photos and she executed the ideas perfectly and even better than I could have imagined. She let me change items in the propsal as details of the rest of the wedding planning became more clear. She was consitiant in her communications with me and always available if I had questions. She made sure of the scheudle and communicated with me on delivery times and gave her professional insights on when would be best for day-of deliveries, best type of florals to use for the time year, best floral ideas for the budget (which she was respectful of), and was able to use her connections to give us a great deal. She was a pleasure to work with; my girls and I LOVED our bouquests! I had her do the boutonniere's, hand corsages, and real petals for the flower girls. She was able to put together the boutineeres using magnets wich was a great touch! She also did our centerpieces which was bud vases with different florals in each one, still all in the same "theme" and she helped set those up the day of. They looked gorgeous and fit the vibe so well. Thank you so much Sherri for helping make our day beatiful and fresh!! 10/10 recommend to any bride or anyone throwing a party and needing florals!

Miriam and her team at Esther's Private Garden were wonderful from start to finish. Her authenticity and just realness and transparency is what sets her apart and something I great appreciated as an over analyzer. For example, I quoted and interviewed 7 different Chicago florists before choosing Ester's Private Garden and I would 100% book her again! From the first beautiful proposal to our continuing conversations, Miriam was able to take my color vision to life. Coming up with a colorful palette that blended summer and fall colors (a September wedding) was no easy feat but Miriam was able to execute so full! Out tables were event a gradient of colors and a last add-on of incorporating fruit, she did it and did it perfectly. Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Naperville, IL

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
We used Flower Moxie for our DIY wedding flowers and couldn't be happier with our choice. The team was quick to get back to us and super flexible when we wanted to adjust our order. When the flowers arrived on our wedding day, they looked stunning and fresh. The quality was exactly what we hoped for, and everything came together beautifully for our ceremony and reception. For the price, we felt like we got great value and would definitely recommend them to other couples looking to do their own florals. Thanks Flower Moxie for making our day special!

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (43 reviews)
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Naperville, IL

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
We were so delighted to use The Faux Bouquets for our wedding. We ended up having a family emergency that forced us to downsize the size and budget of the wedding just a few months before the wedding, and the team at TFB were so accommodating and helped us to find a solution that still allowed us to use their flowers in our (modified) ceremony. We were a bit concerned about the flowers getting smushed in shipping, but they arrived looking absolutely STUNNING and with plenty of time before the big day. Even my gardener of a grandma couldn't tell they weren't real flowers! We were so happy with how everything looked on the day, and in pictures they look just as lovely. Can't recommend The Faux Bouquets enough! There's no visual difference compared to real bouquets and they are much more affordable. The last big selling point that I would advise future brides, and I did not really consider this, is that because the flowers don't wilt, we could set the decor out the night before--which is a LIFESAVER to not have to worry about on the special day! Anything that will save you time and stress on the day of the wedding is a big win!

🌹 WE ARE NOT FRESH FLOWER FLORISTS. WE WORK WITH WOOD & FAUX FLOWERS. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE THIS IN YOUR REPLY. 🌹 Wood & Word Blooms is run by a Jen Angle, former teacher of 20+ years and specializes in using hand-painted wood flowers along with a faux, dried and preserved florals (nothing fresh here) to bring your wedding vision to life not just for that one glorious day but forever. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Awarded Best of Zola
I was so grateful to have found Jen while going through our flower-picking-process. We got a quote for real flowers to start and it was way out of our budget. When we started looking for 'fake' flowers, I knew I wanted them to look as real as possible. I must have looked at 10 different vendors across CT and MA, and as soon as I saw Wood & Word Blooms website I was sold! Her bouquets are one of a kind, each and every piece was perfect for our wedding. She was so supportive and helpful in the color picking process, I changed my mind a few times but she never batted an eye. She got us to the finish line and we couldn't be happier. If you're on the fence, just go with Jen!

We are a family business, everything started 2019. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management and I enjoy the process of planning events, decorations, scheduling, and timelines. I worked in the hotel business for almost 10 years until I realized that I wanted to start working in what I love and I'm passionate about. That's how I decided to open my own company!

Where do I begin? Lori and her team were absolutely fabulous, she did so much work behind the scenes to make our day special. We had a highly personalized and very detailed set up with WildmanBT and Lori took care of all of it. I hired her based on great reviews from the venue and she was always available to answer questions via text, phone call or email whenever I had them. We started working together nearly a year and a half before the event so we can truly say she put on a great show! She was helpful, knew exactly how long certain processes would take and was so impressive managing other vendors and the timing we didn't even have to think of anything the day of. We had a large bridal party as well that she knew how to command and manage a room - our rehearsal of over 25 people took only 20 minutes! She also "had a guy" for all things wedding you could think of - I highly recommend reviewing her website as she provides florals, centerpieces, decorations and various other items and services. If she didn't provide the service or product directly she knew a trusted source we could go to to get it. We paid extra to have Lori and her team set up the centerpieces and our decorations, they were PERFECTLY laid out to our specs. I am very "type-A" and hard to impress so it was no small feat to manage all our expectations and Lori blew them out of the water. Highly recommend (photo credit to Emma Mullins Photography)

We hired Paula and Samantha pretty down to the wire of our wedding, but they immediately jumped in! We contacted them on Friday, and they had our proposal ready by Monday! Our flowers fit our vibe perfectly: I wanted something to pull from the venue's brick, but not look too "autumny" for our January wedding, and they nailed it! They look and feel like "regular" flowers, but they'll last forever and have so far held up perfectly! We're gifting a number of our pieces to our mothers and grandmothers as keepsakes from our amazing day, while saving the rest to display around our house! We're so happy to have such beautiful mementoes to remember it by!

Nicole is the definition of a true professional. She delivers exactly what she promises. The compliments from guests on our wedding florals were endless, and even now, people are still talking about how beautiful everything looked. If you’ve ever planned a wedding or a large-scale event, you know how overwhelming it can be. I spoke with several florists before finding Nicole, and the difference was night and day. One florist brushed me off because I didn’t know the exact flowers I wanted during our first call. Another abruptly asked (5 minutes in) if I was just using them to learn flower names before cutting me off mid-conversation. It was discouraging, to say the least. Then there was Nicole. From our very first call, I felt at ease. I wasn’t looking to spend thousands and thousands on florals, and I didn’t have a detailed list of flowers in mind—just a general vibe and some inspo photos. Nicole took the time (over an hour on our first call!) to walk me through what would fit that vision, approximately what it would cost, and how she could bring it to life. She gave me guidance with zero pressure, and that genuine care and clarity made her the first vendor I signed after booking my venue. What impressed me most was how she respected my vision. I only wanted simple bud vases and understated elegance, and instead of pushing me to spend more or upsell me, she embraced my ideas wholeheartedly and executed them perfectly. On top of that, her delivery and set-up pricing was incredibly reasonable, and worth every penny. (Trust me—you don’t want your friends or family worrying about logistics on the morning of your wedding. Let Nicole handle it.) I would hire her again in a heartbeat. If you want a florist who is kind, professional, transparent, and talented—look no further than Nicole.

Zombie Flowers
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

I only had bouquet and my now husband had a lapel crawler. The dried flower arrangement from Zombie Flowers was stunning. It looked incredible in photos and is still just as beautiful now. Knowing it will last forever makes it such a meaningful keepsake.
