She went completely above and beyond- when the bridal party was finishing photos outside and it started pouring, she got SOAKED while shielding my bridesmaids and making sure everyone was able to get safely from the park to the vehicles to inside the venue. She literally used herself as a shield and then proceeded to to help everyone get touch ups while they dried off- by the time the ceremony had started, no one would have had an idea that everyone had been rained on. “I first met Alicia (briefly) at a styled photo shoot. Alicia did not do my makeup during this styled shoot, but she was one of the contributing make up artists and she did an amazing job completing her assigned model’s make up within the allotted time frame. When it came time for me to select a make-up artist, I had a VERY short short-list of artists. Alicia was one of two that I contacted based on my experience with other professionals. I was highly impressed by the quick response (mere hours compared to days with no response from another). In terms of pricing, Alicia’s work was very affordable and lower than the average per person cost based on my own industry experience. I already knew I liked Alicia’s work from the styled shoot and her Instagram photo portfolio, but I was still nervous that I would lose the look of my face (aka my freckles) as I have many times before in styled shoots so I opted to add in the bridal trial. Alicia was very professional in scheduling the trial and helped me interpret my very indecisive style. I knew I wanted neutral makeup to bring out my eyes and she recommended colors and told me exactly what she was doing at each step. As I drove from my makeup trial to my hair trial, I could not keep my eyes out of the rear view looking at myself (thank god for red lights to sit at and admire myself!). On my wedding day, Alicia treated each of my bridesmaids with the same care and respect that she afforded to me during my trial. Everyone was so impressed with their makeup and I absolutely loved how I looked. I saw myself (freckles, yay!) and I felt truly stunning. She even gave me a little “touch up” kit for the rest of the day in case of oily skin and smudges which I thought was the kindest and most thoughtful way to set herself apart from the crowd of makeup artists to choose from. I highly recommend Alicia for her talent, professionalism, and value.”

“I never had professional makeup done with the exception of 1 time so I don’t know much about makeup, hair or looks. But Gabriel was able to bring my vision to life. I just told her what things I like for example I said Amy whinehouse a lot! And bold, skinny face, shiny cheeks and wings! She made that vision come to life with both hair and makeup. She traveled to me for the trial run and it was a seamless experience! The day of my wedding she showed up early and although we had a issue with our room she was able to work in a tight space full of 20 people in and out with kids running around while smiling the whole time! When we did my makeup I did last minute changes and with no complaint or holdback she did those changes for me. My hair? Beautiful! She also did one of my bridesmaids makeup that I am still in awe over, my maid of honors hair and eye makeup, and my moms hair which I have NEVER seen my mom look the way she did.
