“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“HiMotive Entertainment & Photobooth did a great job keeping our wedding reception fun and upbeat. While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. “We had Nick Wright as our "master DJ" for our June 2026 wedding at Landoll's Mohican Castle. Nick was AMAZING - he was open to every genre of music; including k-pop, the Lord of the Rings soundtrack, video game music, early 2000s, and more! He walked us through the party pleasers app, which was fantastic. You could upload full spotify playlists straight into the app. The app also breaks down each section of wedding day for every song you may need (ceremony, cocktail hour, cutting the cake, dinner, dancing, etc.). Nick was super nice and was able to do our sound for the ceremony, cocktail hour, full dinner and reception, and our grand exit. He was open to all our suggestions; and he brought up things to decide that we hadn't even considered! During the wedding, Nick made sure to check in with us personally and made sure we were well taken care of. I highly recommend party pleasers for the large selection of rentals, lighting, and their amazing DJs -especially Nick! Lastly, Nick was an amazing "game show host" for our scavenger hunt - we made sure the musical chairs were ready, mc'd the entire hunt, and played a different song for each item! The music was amazing - he played all of our must haves, followed our do-not-play list, and had some amazing early 2000s hip-hop mixes.”

“Dj Touché truly made planning my wedding a lot easier! I was a very chill bride which to some was great but to others it made things more difficult. Dj Touché has this awesome app that he sends you to choose music and I was overwhelmed with the choices! Dj touché was so patient with me and helped me pick great songs for my wedding! He even freestyled a little and he 100% nailed the vibe! The Photo Booth was truly a hit at my wedding and I had no idea I’d get to see all the pictures people were taking during the wedding! He had the pictures scrolling across the dj booth! He also had pictures of my husband and I displayed during the wedding and I had no idea he was going to do that! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!”
