The Japanese Garden is a beautiful, intimate, hidden gem on the campus of Cal State Long Beach. It was a lovely backdrop drop to our wedding day. Omar was easy to communicate with and was always prompt in getting back to us with answers to our questions and helped us with any concerns we had. He and his staff helped make our blessed day better than we could have ever imagined. The Grand catering was fantastic and many of our guest continue to comment on how delicious the food was. We highly recommend this majestic place for your special event.

You are also welcome to arrange your own caterer within the guidelines of the facility. Our weddings are inclusive of your beliefs and can be tailored to your desires. Our wedding package is open to all couples. A beautiful garden setting which can accommodate approximately 300 guests is also available for your reception. The site, complete with gazebo, also features a removable hardwood dance floor.

The Woman’s Club of South Pasadena began in 1899 when a group of business and professional women, teachers, writers, homemakers, and world travelers wanted to be involved in the community. Originally known as the Women's Improvement Association, the group raised funds to beautify the city and joined a nationwide movement of local women's clubs. After numerous meetings in various locations, the group finally raised funds to build their own Clubhouse in 1913. Today this amazing building is on the City of South Pasadena’s Cultural Heritage inventory and provides a local event venue for Club members and members of the public alike.
