Spectra Food Services & Hospitality is the exclusive, in-house caterer at Gateway Convention Center. Although we do not allow outside food and beverage, we do make exceptions for wedding cakes. “I really can’t say enough about Jeff, Amy, Ashley, and the rest of team at Gateway Center. They did their absolute best to make our wedding spectacular. Did we have hiccups during the process? Sure. But nothing that would make me hesitate recommending them. They customize pretty much everything so that you have things exactly as you want them and take care of everything on your day so that you don’t have to worry about a thing. And they’re so flexible. I had some family who were throwing them curve balls at the last minute and they took everything in stride. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that.”

Their communication kept us informed every step of the way, which made the planning process smooth. The food was phenomenal and our guests couldn't stop talking about it. However, the venue itself fell short of what we were hoping for. The space has a corporate feel with ceiling tiles, bland carpeting, and poor lighting that doesn't match the elegance of a wedding. We wish they had invested more in wedding-specific decor and design, as the bones are there but the atmosphere needs work. If they transformed the space with thoughtful touches, they'd likely have a waiting list.”
