My (now) wife and I enjoy the food at Alan's Falafel (Chester, NY) so much that when it came time to select a caterer we were very happy Alan's was available and worked with us on what we were looking for. We wanted to share the food we love and enjoy with our family and friends. We have been to so many weddings where the food was just underwhelming. Alan's did not disappoint. We still receive so many comments on how much the food was enjoyed and the People at Alan's worked very hard to make sure our day went smooth and we were left satisfied. Cannot recommend them enough.

Still riding the high from our wedding weekend! We were absolutely floored by all the work Jen and Ally and the whole Stagecoach team did to make our wedding weekend spectacular! They have several different packages that you can choose from which allowed us to find something that truly worked for us. We ended up having around 115 guests for the wedding and the space was just perfect! We had been to the Inn for dinner before and we knew we wanted to make food a priority. Chef Jerrel hit it out of the park for the rehearsal dinner, the cocktail hour/reception, and the brunch the next morning! Also because they have rooms upstairs, we were able to have our closest family stay and not have to worry about any travel! We couldn't recommend them enough!

Blooming Hill Farm

5.0

Monroe, NY
  • Up to 200 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Outdoor & indoor

Blooming Hill Farm is a rustic wedding venue located in New York's Hudson Valley. This family-owned farm is known for growing organic produce on land in Blooming Grove for over 30 years. They use their own fresh ingredients to give you and your guests a true farm-to-table experience. Their friendly staff will work closely with you to coordinate decor, timelines, vendors, etc. Its beautiful natural setting and fresh cuisine make for a wedding your guests won't soon to forget.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Rustic charm with elegance
  • Handles all cleanup logistics
  • Flexible event spaces

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • No dedicated areas for getting ready
  • Not for you if you're looking for a sleek and contemporary space
My now-husband and I will never be over our wedding at Blooming Hill Farm. It will be hard to condense all the gushing I want to do into a succinct review, but I'll try. I remembered seeing pics of the farm and thinking it looked cool, but visiting in person last August was a gamechanger. It's so magical in person - beautiful blooms everywhere, the little babbling brook, the dreamy cocktail barn, the general views. My partner, who was in London at the time, had joined via FaceTime and even over the phone he knew immediately after that it was the one. We knew we wanted to get married when the farm was exactly as we saw it, so did our wedding toward the end of August. We lucked out with absolutely beautiful weather and it made for an unforgettable day. In addition to loving on the space ('gorgeous' was used a lot), our guests couldn't stop raving about the food (no surprises here, BHF is a working farm with a popular farm-to-table restaurant). Without a doubt, the best wedding food we've ever had. The tasting was a highlight :) In addition to all of this, rather than having to separately source and pay a kajillion dollars for all of the linens, tables, etc, this is all included and BHF works with you to execute your vision to a T. The reception tent was sneakily one of the most beautiful parts of our wedding day - I couldn't stop ogling everything. Special shoutout to Nadine, BHF's florist who worked with our non-existent knowledge of flowers and delivered an absolute dream setting. Finally, I've fully been burying the lead because on top of all this, the ultimate perk of doing your wedding at Blooming Hill Farm is you get to work with a coordinator like our girl Kate - who we are still not ready to say goodbye to. While we experienced light concern from a few folks over not hiring a planner, with Kate we never needed one. From the venue tour to detailed planning sessions to literally cueing us all down the aisle, she held our hand every step of the way and managed to be equally warm and fun while supremely on top of her sh*t (and ensuring we were on top of ours). She overdelivered in the way a stereotypically Type A wedding planner would, while managing to be...chill?! It truly felt like working with a friend. (WE LOVE YOU, KATE, PLEASE CALL US WHEN YOU'RE IN BROOKLYN?!?) The rest of the staff were also so notably warm, wonderful and on point as well. Truly, if there was a way to Black Mirror ourselves and relive this day over and over, we definitely would. Please have your wedding here, ok?

I can't begin to describe the amazing wedding celebration we had at The Terrace at Biagio's. We had our ceremony at the venue as well and everything went perfect! Barbara and John were top tier! Communicating with me from the moment we met until the wedding, answering all my questions at all hours and making our vision come to life! They were on top of everything from start to finish, and we were constantly taken care of us. Not only did they excel but they did it all with great personality and love! The Terrace itself was a gem! Our guests raved about the cocktail hour! It was an assortment of the best food possible, all so fresh and impossible to not go back for more. Bar service was top notch and our signature drinks were a hit! (Barbra actually was the one who made that vision come alive! Lavender martini and bacon maple ole fashioned). The dessert hour was a fire show! (Literally a fire show) And there was every dessert possible! Carnival, ice creams, cakes, cookies, chocolate fondue, etc! We had our first look down the road at another location but we took photos on site in the front of the entrance to the terrace and they came out beautiful! It's a smaller area but it has beautiful flowers and a stream. The ceremony was on the roof top and it was beautiful with the waterfall fountain and stone fire place! Lots of cute places to take some very nice photos! Along with the string lights and arch, it was a dream. I can't rave enough about how much Biagios made our day so enjoyable, and beautiful. I would recommend them over and over again thank you again to the hardworking staff, Barbara, John and Tommy. It is a night we will cherish forever. Oh, and they allow dogs to be in the ceremony It was everything to be able to have our fur baby share our special day with us.

We had our wedding at Revel 32 and couldn’t be happier. Cherilyn, Judy and Holly made the whole process completely seamless. We started the planning about a year ago after a very thorough virtual walk through. We absolutely fell in love with all the event spaces, even remotely. We met with the Chef about 6 months ago and were confident the food would be incredible, which it was! We utilized every available space that was offered and each space was perfect. The Lauren suite was perfect for my very large bridal party to get ready. We had the ceremony in the ballroom which was absolutely gorgeous and had our cocktail hour between the ballroom, the bar and the the main entry room and then we had our reception in Canon Hall and utilized the mezzanine and mezzanine bar as well. This room was the perfect space to PARTY. All staff were unbelievably helpful and kind and no detail was overlooked. Our wedding at Revel turned out absolutely stunning and we received dozens of compliments on the space itself and the service. We would get married here again and again if we could! We highly recommend Revel 32 as they have become like family to us!

This document stands as one of America’s first declarations of independence and is often given as the reason we celebrate July 4. The ‘76 accommodates up to 150 guests in 3 distinctly styled dining rooms, each one graced with a glowing fireplace. Whether you’re planning a corporate luncheon for two dozen guests, a family celebration for fifty or a glamorous wedding, personal assistance from our experienced events staff ensures a flawlessly executed occasion to be remembered for years to come. Our vision for our wedding was for all our favorite people having a night out at a bar and the 76 house more than delivered! We loved the historical aspect of the restaurant and they even had little pamphlets our guests could take that shared the history of the venue. This is a bit of an untraditional wedding venue (as it is a restaurant) but that didn’t stop anyone from dancing and having a great time. From the moment we started working with Elisa (our “wedding planner” aka the woman who runs the show) she was detail oriented while willing to work with us throughout the whole process. Whether it was from payment, table arrangements, food, getting the vendors set up, etc. anything we needed, she helped. The food tasting she set up for us was amazing allowing us to try various options for the dinner. We are both laid back people so we let the chef go with any appetizers he wanted. You are able to request anything you want and they will likely be able to do it for you. The chef did not disappoint, ALL of the apps were incredible. We had one guest mention he ate 20 meatballs they were so good. There was chicken, steak skewers, lamb chops, meatballs, hummus/veggie spread (that wasn’t even all that was served). We had eaten at the restaurant a few times so we knew the food was good. However, having to serve 120 people and still make it delicious is tough but they did it well (we went with the chateaubriand, amish chicken, mahi mahi, and vegetable risotto). We requested no pork or nuts for the whole wedding. We had a wedding cake through a bakery they recommended and they also put plates of small desserts out on the tables. Aside from the food, the service was amazing. All the waiters and waitresses were attentive and extremely professional. For us, we constantly had our champagne filled and asked whether we needed something. They were on top of water refills, drink requests, clean up, etc. We really appreciated the service given to us and our guests. We heard so many times during cocktail hour that every time someone turned around they had a food option. While we did not have to go up to the bar, our guests said the bartenders were awesome, quick, and generous! Elisa worked great with our other vendors as well, making sure they had everything they needed and that things were kept on schedule (food, dances, cake, etc). We had a completely stress free evening which allowed us to have the time of our lives. She ensured that our tables were set with the centerpieces, the florals were set up, and she created a menu for us (which is great to have something taken off our plate). Elisa also, set up our various signs and ensured everything was where we had discussed. We were able to drop everything off ahead of time and not have anything to worry about the day of. Our biggest concern going to this venue was the fact that the front room was partially separated from the rest of the restaurant. We decided to sit people there who we knew would be a bit rowdier and on the dance floor so it wasn’t an issue for us at all. It did get pretty toasty in there but we were dancing the whole time and it’s an older building. The air tried its best and while sitting for dinner it was more than comfortable! We are a crazy group so I’m not surprised we were sweating lol. This was the best day and a HUGE part of that is thanks to Elisa and her whole team at the 76 house. Food, service, people are TOP NOTCH. We could go on and on but ran out of space :)
