When I was shopping around, I talked to a lot of really amazing and talented florists, but Dana stood out because of her drive, professionalism, and her understanding of my vision. Of note, I was between DM Events and one other vendor for my florals (he was recommended by my venue) and when I had one of my calls with him, I was quoted almost three times the price that Dana had quoted me. When I mentioned that, this vendor told me that "if I could get it for less, go with the other vendor." He genuinely didn't believe that I could have gotten what I was looking for at a lower price point. My flower delivery the day of was timely, professional, and once again, totally seamless. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, and many of my guests commented about how beautiful they were. One of my bridesmaids works in the wedding industry and was totally blown away by how gorgeous they were. They were also so fresh and all of my arrangements that were in floral sponges were still in perfect condition two days later so I was able to pull them off and preserve them.”

We had multiple meetings (both in person and over the phone), and every single time, she made me feel more at ease and less stressed. On the big day, Tiara and her daughter were incredible behind the scenes. They managed every little detail so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. From reusing and seamlessly moving décor from the arbor to the sweetheart table, to making my vision of a baby’s breath-lined aisle come to life despite the wind—everything was beautiful. The florals, especially the pops of peaches and oranges in the bouquets and boutonnieres, tied the whole look together perfectly. (She even met us with drinks in hand after our ceremony getaway ride!) A second related career in Floral Design was added to my skill set when I was employed as a part-time floral designer and trained at Longwood Gardens. I decorated twenty-one Christmas trees that year and did a lot of beautiful custom designs.

I have a unique career background in occupational therapy and event planning/coordination. I truly love helping others and identifying their needs/desires to make a statement with flowers on their wedding day. We offer floral preservation (pressed florals) for our clients.

I appreciated how she was so organized, informative, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. She regularly kept me updated on different promotions to help us stay within budget, which I really appreciated. One of the coolest parts of this experience was being able to choose my own color scheme and she designed the flowers exactly how I envisioned them. I highly recommend checking out their reference photos on Instagram or Facebook, because it really helped me get a sense of the floral styles I liked. Dana also worked with me to match everything to my color palette, offering great suggestions along the way. On my wedding day, she came in while we were getting ready and set everything up beautifully. She even sent me photos during setup to confirm I liked the placement. The floral displays on the tables were gorgeous, and the pergola she decorated turned out stunning! She also shared helpful tips on how to re-use the ceremony florals for the cocktail hour and reception tables/decor, which saved us on cost and over-ordering. At the end of the night, Dana came back to retrieve the larger pieces and centerpieces, but we got to keep our beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres. I highly recommend Cascade queens for your floral needs, Dana is amazing and I’m going to keep my beautiful florals forever!”
