Photographs always made me curious. The stories behind the photo often sparked ideas for my book writing. Being a 90's baby I grew up using Kodak film, my moms point-and-shoot, and polaroid. My love of this art grew and I bought my first Canon when my oldest was 3. For awhile I captured our family growing, memories, a few newborns here and there, and brand content. In 2020, I began capturing life through the lens for others. It brought beauty back to my heart, and independence to my life as a mom. When I shot my first wedding I became absolutely hooked and knew I wanted to capture more of those memories for your future generations to cherish.

The year 2022 marks two important milestones for the Whiddon’s; 15 years of marriage, and 10 years of filming weddings. Both are extremely humbling and exciting achievements. Whiddon Productions started as a passion and a side hustle. Today it continues to fuel our creative interests, it satisfies our entrepreneurial spirit, provides for our family, and blesses our clients with a look back at one of the most important days of their lives. We are thankful to the hundreds of couples that have allowed us to be a part of their love and their lives, and we look forward to what the future may have in store for our family and our business.

Brin’s Posy is named after my beloved dog. She passed away unexpectedly a few years ago, leaving myself and her pup sister (Abby) to figure out life without her. We were months of grieving her loss when a close friend insisted I channel the grief energy into something positive. A bell went off in my head as my current job as a florist in a far away town was coming to an end. Brin’s Posy helped me come to terms with the loss. I still have Abby (the shop girl) in the shop daily and occasionally out to our farm venues! We love to source local and work with community members.
