When I was 16 years old I began to teach myself how to play guitar so that I could impress a girl that I had a huge crush on... she wasn't very impressed at the time. However, one day I was playing outside and a woman walking by asked my to sing in her wedding. That day change my entire life. The Greater Grand Forks String Quartet is based in Grand Forks North Dakota and specializes in providing high quality background music and wedding ceremony music that is customized to suit the requests of clients. The group of two, three or four performers is made up of local musicians and members of the Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra. Available as a quartet (violin, violin, viola and cello), trio (violin, viola and cello), or duo (violin and cello), the group provides suitable music for all types of indoor and outdoor functions, funeral music, and wedding ceremonies.
