“If you need a florist for your wedding or any big event, look no further!! Long stems is definitely the place to book with!! From my first phone call with Keith, I felt at ease. We discussed what I would want for our wedding and he took everything down. He said that we could always add or take away up until 3 weeks before the wedding when we do a mockup! I went back and forth a lot with his son, John, over the invoice and things I wanted to add and he couldn’t have been any more helpful. Any question I asked, they answered right away and accommodated anything I wanted to add on! When it came time for the mockup about 3 weeks before the wedding, I went in person to Long Stems. Keith was so gracious and then Heather walked me through what they were thinking of putting together! She had a mockup of a bunch of flowers and took out anything I didn’t want and added in anything I needed. After that, they sent me an updated invoice and anything I decided to change or fix they did no problem!! The day of the wedding they delivered my flowers right on time and just WOW. they were BEAUTIFUL!!!!! It was exactly what I envisioned and I couldn’t have been happier. My bouquet was absolutely perfect and they wrapped it in a handkerchief that i had given them during the mockup. I got married at Villanova University and Long Stems had the flowers in the church match our flowers perfectly!!! Aside from the bouquets, the centerpieces and Any other small arrangements throughout the venue were perfect. Keith’s wife, Anne, touched them all up to make sure everything was in place and she couldn’t have been any nicer!! She came up to the bridal suite to bring the corsages and boutonnieres in and when I started to move things around in the fridge to make room she told me to not worry about it and she would do it because she knew I had enough to do!! She was just so kind and I really enjoyed speaking with her. The entire Long Stems team was so amazing to work with. Not only do they put together beautiful floral arrangements, but they are kind, gracious, and so helpful. Thank you so much Long Stems!!!”

The entire process from start to finish was seamless and professional, and our flowers turned out more gorgeous than I could have possibly imagined! Everything was so perfect, I cried when I first held my bridal bouquet on our wedding day. We initially contacted Melissa only 6 weeks before our wedding (which was pretty last-minute). After chatting on the phone, we sent her some Pinterest boards with more details about our style and vision. Within 24 hours, Melissa sent a very thorough itemized proposal with the exact flowers and items for us to confirm within our wishlist and budget range, such as bouquets, corsages/boutonnieres, the flower girl basket, the ceremony arch, table centerpieces, and wedding cake florals. The whole proposal signing and decision-making process was super smooth and easy. Something I thought was really unique is that they were able to repurpose our ceremony arch into our sweetheart table decor in order to reduce the cost, as well as repurpose the flowers in a sustainable way. “My wedding was 2 days ago, and I cannot say enough about Jackie and Blooms by JG. Hire her immediately. From my first call with Jackie almost a year ago, she immediately got my vision. She was so easy to work with and really listened to what I wanted. I told Jackie, "I just want it to look like I went outside, picked a bunch of random flowers, and stuck them in a vase....in February." And boy did she deliver. I sent over a few inspo photos, and my flowers looked better than the inspiration pictures. All night, guests came up to me and said how beautiful the bouquets were, and I honestly wish I could have mine fresh all year round.. it's just that beautiful. Jackie did the set up for my tables, and they looked better than I can imagine. The corsage was gorgeous, boutonnieres were gorgeous, everything was gorgeous! From start to finish, she was a dream to work with. She's got a great eye, knows what looks good together, and is just really good at her job. I was on a tight budget for our wedding and was concerned that I would have to sacrifice something. Jackie is affordable, creates stunning work, and was just so lovely. Her journey started at the age of six years old, Melissa-May was surrounded by all aspects of creativity. Her ability to visualize things, put them onto paper and create anything from scratch was also apparent at a young age when she completed an illustration of her dream house, then constructed an entire floor plan and a model house made out of popsicle sticks. Furthermore, at the age of 12, her friend’s mother noticed Melissa-May’s gift of artistry and requested that she create cartoon place cards for her daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. She later was asked to create the invitations and centerpieces for her best friend’s Debutant ball.
