I'm a people photographer, an individual not a company. This is a second career for me. My photography experience goes back all my adult life—it’s a love, a passion, my craft and art. I’ve been selling photos for six years, working full-time as a professional photographer for four, and photographing weddings for three. I’ve shot more than 65 weddings, from small and intimate ceremonies to large, lively celebrations.

I earned a BFA degree in studio art from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!), and a MFA degree in imaging arts/photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. I taught black and white, digital, alternative process and studio photography at the high school, university and adult education levels. The Lane Studios originally started as a family & school photography studio many years ago. In 2019, we started offering wedding photography after years of many enquiries. The entire process is led and managed by couple-in-real life, Sean & Donnla, with Sean as the lead photographer on the day, and Donnla handling everything to do with client relations and bookings. We shoot all over the New England area - from the far reaches of Maine to the corners of Connecticut. Fun facts: Sean is a Navy Veteran and Donnla was born in Galway, Ireland.
