This was an amazing location for anyone that is local or coming in from out of town. As the bride I was able to unpack my bags settle in and enjoy all that this venue had to offer for the entire weekend. Dan, the owner is incredibly sweet and has been doing this for some time. His confidence that everything will be taken care of was super helpful. I used almost all of the venue's recommended vendors in which they were absolutely incredible. Everyone that showed up to help that day knew exactly where to go, what to do, and how to get it done. I know weather is unpredictable, but somehow we got lucky with a stunning day. The day itself was magical and now that we are getting all of our photos back you can tell how truly stunning the day was. We utilized every inch that this venue had to offer; having the ceremony outside over looking the hills and horse stable, the cocktail hour was located out on the Patios, sunset photos walking the grounds, and hung out by the pool area when possible. Our guests were able to check out the local attractions as it is situated between 3 wineries and downtown Middleburg, which offers a lot of great mom and pop shops. I know this will be a day that we will never forget and the Briar Patch Bed and Breakfast made it all possible!

The Manor At Airmont

5.0

Round Hill, VA
  • Up to 200 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor

Celebrations at The Manor are one-of-a-kind events designed to tell your story. Whether it's a wedding weekend surrounded by 150 of your closest family and friends or simply a weekend away with a few friends to celebrate a birthday, The Manor offers the perfect setting. Nestled in the heart of VA's wine country on over 18 acres there are multiple indoor and outdoor locations to accommodate your event. The Manor at Airmont has multiple sites for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Our venue offers an in-house design team and catering, and event planning and management options.

When looking for a venue the Manor was the second venue we’d seen out of five and after taking a tour with Anthony we crossed the rest off our list. When we visited I immediately felt it was elegant and classy but also warm and cozy. Their all inclusive package was a godsend, it removed the stress of having to interview and coordinate different vendors. They handled it all while keeping us comfortable with our budget. The design process was so much fun! Natallia really invested in getting to know us personally which would inspire her recommendations. I wasn’t a bride that had dreamt of every single detail down to the color of the napkins but I knew the style and ambiance I wanted and gave Natallia and her team artistic license to come up with designs that matched my inspiration board. The outcome was breathtaking. Several guests mentioned it was the most beautiful wedding they’d ever attended. A unique twist Natallia and her team came up with was a way to acknowledge that our wedding date also happened to be Cinco de Mayo. They set up a beautiful taco and tequila welcome bar before the ceremony that our guests devoured. The food from the welcome taco bar to cocktail hour to dinner and then the dessert bar was 5 star restaurant quality. The tasting event was my husband’s favorite part of the entire process but also the most difficult because it was too hard to choose with some many delicious options. We ended up upgrading our dinner menu and adding additional hors d’oeuvres. The artistic presentation combined with the decadent flavors had our guests complimenting for weeks. Choosing The Manor at Airmont was the best and easiest decision of the entire wedding process. Their staff were incredibly detailed, attentive, and genuine. The Manor is a truly special place, that makes all its guests feel welcome. This is a dream venue for any couple looking for a stunning location, with an exceptional design team, matched with delectable dishes and cocktails. I tell everyone I meet getting married that they need to book their wedding at The Manor!

Cacapon Resort State Park

5.0

Berkeley Springs, WV
  • Up to 190 guests
  • Limited services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $35

Our venue offers a memorable, romantic and serene natural setting amidst the rolling hills of West Virginia. Sitting in the shadows of the highest peak in the eastern portion of West Virginia. Cacapon Resort State Park offers 6,000 acres of exciting outdoor getaways all year-round. The word Cacapon is a derivative of a Shawnee Indian word meaning "medicine waters," a reference to the area's mineral waters that have been renowned throughout history for their healing powers. The park is frequented by both nature lovers and adventure seekers from around the state, as well as nearby cities such as Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Cacapon Resort is also a draw for history buffs due to its proximity to the historic town of Berkeley Springs and Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Extend your stay by booking a room at the park’s recently renovated lodge — the newest in the state park system, in a cabin, or the restored Old Inn.

We booked our April wedding at Cacapon and it was perfect. We booked the Old Inn for the Rehearsal Dinner and as a place for us and the bridal party to stay. The ceremony took place out on the terrace and the reception was inside the ballroom. Everything was perfect!

Rixey Manor

5.0

Rixeyville, VA
  • Up to 250 guests
  • Limited services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $15,500

We are proud and happy to help curate every wedding to our couple's romantic specifications. We include coordination, and no 'must use' vendors list so you can make your wedding personal and relaxing. We only offer totally private rentals, so you can feel like your guests are visiting you in your own home. Our pet-friendly property even lets you bring your pups. Rixey offers the most spectacular views... from the top of the Blue Ridge Mountains on one side, to the bottom of Rixey Lake on the other. Our rooftop and patio spaces make for a magical setting both at sunset and at night, and the Ballroom, complete with climate control and ADA-accessible bathrooms, means that inclement weather won't have a negative effect on your special day. The history of the house lends an air of vintage elegance, but what most of our couples love is the comfy atmosphere provided by big sofas, real fires, and the ability to curl up at the end of the night in the library with your favorite people.

Rixey Manor was an absolute dream venue. From the moment we came for a tour, we knew that we wanted to get married there. The venue is private, gorgeous, and unlike anything else we'd seen, but it's the people at Rixey who truly make it worth every penny. Throughout the planning process, Isadora (the venue manager) was incredibly organized and made the process much less stressful. Her team has years of experience and were able to give advice and insights on the entire process - including how much alcohol to buy, how to schedule the day so it ran smoothly, and even extra decorations on the property that we were able to use cost-free. They have a helpful Google template that served as the brain trust of our wedding operation - it had tabs for nearly every aspect of the whole weekend, and we shared it with all of our vendors to plan the day. Rixey even has an annual "Bridal Bootcamp" where couples can come and learn about the planning process from their recommended vendors and spend time at Rixey. They go above and beyond for their couples. But Rixey and its staff truly shined on our wedding weekend. A major advantage of booking Rixey is that you get access to the venue for the entire weekend. We can't understate how wonderful it was to arrive and set up Friday, be able to wake up at the venue on Saturday, and then go to sleep there after partying the night away and have brunch with our loved ones on Sunday. We got so many compliments on how seamless the weekend ran and how gorgeous and unique of a venue Rixey is. It is truly its own private space, and you can feel its intimacy reflected in your whole day. We were able to truly relax and enjoy the weekend, because Isadora and her team took care of everything. Isadora is a superhuman and listened so intently, arranged every decoration, and handled every vendor interaction for us so that we could be fully present and enjoy the weekend. That, in itself, is a gift we will treasure forever. Bottom line is, if you'd like a special, one-of-a-kind venue that your guests will love, with staff that will make you feel relaxed, present, and prepared, book Rixey!
