It all began when Hal and Elaine Porter moved their family from the warm sunshine of Tucson, Arizona to be closer to family. They and their four daughters arrived in Utah on Christmas Eve in 1996. Elaine had grown up in Northern Utah and missed the beautiful mountains and seasons. To Elaine’s surprise, Hal had wanted to move to Utah years before, but the timing was not right. Both had spent time in Utah county and knew that this was going to be “home” to them. Hal, with his 47+ years of foodservice experience, and Elaine, with her 32+ years in the corporate world, began a new adventure and started a catering business in 2000.

Over the past 40 years, Cuisine Unlimited has expanded from a small catering business to a true, full-service event provider offering services to the Utah community. With more than 140 employees today, Cuisine Unlimited is proud to serve a variety of clients in Utah, the United States, and around the world. We offer custom menus & creative design with our award winning team. We have been a staple wedding catering in this community for 40 years & going strong!
