Luna Vinca
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Maple Plain, MN

Owner, Jennifer Guion performs the many jobs needed to own and operate a small business: owner, manager, designer, buyer, and accountant. She has always had interests in both science and art, and pursued a degree in environmental science with a concentration in biology but found that it wasn’t a creative enough environment. After nurturing interests in creative fields, floral design won out over photography and other pursuits. In 1998 Jennifer decided the perfect way to balance her diverse interests in art and science would be to become an entrepreneur and open her own floral business.

Jennifer was so wonderful to work with. She’s so creative and understood our vision exactly. The whole team was amazing. 10/10 recommend

Urban Blooms Minneapolis
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Starts at $2,500

Hi, I’m Donesha, the heart behind Urban Blooms Minneapolis. I’m a wedding and event florist who believes flowers have the power to tell love stories without words. My passion is creating romantic, luxurious designs that feel timeless yet deeply personal—whether it’s a cascading bridal bouquet, an elegant floral arch, or dreamy reception centerpieces. Every couple has a unique story, and I love translating that into florals that reflect their style, culture, and vision for their wedding day. With an eye for detail and a love for beauty, I specialize in designing arrangements that feel lush, modern, and unforgettable.

Urban Blooms Minneapolis was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. Their communication was prompt, detailed, and incredibly flexible as I changed my mind a few times on the floral design. The end result was truly top-tier - the flowers were breathtaking and all of our guests and the venue could not stop raving about them! Donesha was wonderful to work with, taking my limited initial ideas and turning them into a floral display that exceeded all of my expectations. I wasn't totally sure what I wanted, but she listened closely and created an absolutely stunning look that perfectly captured the vibe of our wedding. Urban Blooms' attention to detail and quality of work is truly excellent, and they played a huge role in making our special day look and feel so magical. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Studio B Floral Designs
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Maple Plain, MN

Tami’s interactions with flowers & design began at an early age in Idaho where she watched her mother tending their flower gardens on the family farm. Her business really got started in 2003, when Tami decided she would create the flowers for her own wedding. Never being one for doing things halfway, she took professional floral design courses and fell head-over-heels in love with everything about the floral business. Tami is much more than just a florist. She treats every wedding as her own!

Working with Tami was the best decision for floral/decor and day-of coordinating! Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she made sure that everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. The floral arrangements and bouquets with a beautiful mix of colorful wildflowers, greenery, and even mini succulents were perfect for our outdoor ceremony and were seamlessly re-purposed for the indoor reception. Would definitely recommend Studio B Floral for all of your floral/decor and DOC needs!

January & June
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Serves Maple Plain, MN

Hi, I’m Abbey Rorvick! A floral lover who first got a taste for design way back in high school. While most kids’ first jobs were in retail or hospitality, there I was stripping thorns off roses. I eventually moved up to designing and have been in love ever since. Luckily, as of 2024, life circumstances have aligned to allow me to pursue a floral business of my own. So that leaves me to welcome you to January & June, thank you for supporting my small business!

We loved working with Abbey from January and June! From our first consultation to our wedding day, communication was clear and friendly. Abbey really took the time to understand our style and translate our ideas into breathtaking arrangements. Delivery and set-up were seamless, and every bouquet and centerpiece stayed fresh all night. Guests were talking about how beautiful our flowers were. I absolutely loved my bouquet and the perfect touches of blue she created. Excellent value and a joy to work with — highly recommend!

Botany Creative Works is an award winning women-led design studio focusing on beautiful work, fresh ideas, and client collaboration. We strongly believe in sourcing locally whenever possible and allowing our floral and installed art to highlight the individuality of every client and their venue. Our clients are the best, and we always strive to go above and beyond for each and every one of them.

Working with DD and Erin at Botany Creative Works was such a special part of our wedding planning experience for me and my mom. From the very beginning, they listened carefully and understood our vision in a way that felt both thoughtful and intuitive. DD was extraordinary throughout the entire process — walking us through every vessel, container, and design option with care and precision. She presented “good, better, best” options, yet even her "good" exceeded what many would consider exceptional! Her eye for scale, texture, and composition is truly amazing. The florals were effortlessly beautiful and tied the entire day together. Every arrangement felt intentional — from the gorgeous bouquets to the jaw dropping ceremony hanging install and every area of the reception. Seeing the flowers for the first time was such an emotional moment for me. I literally squealed and hugged DD upon walking into our venue. They brought romance and elegance to the day in a way we will never forget. We are so grateful for her and her team's talent, artistry, and heart, and would recommend Botany Creative Works without a doubt!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (92 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Maple Plain, MN

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
This was by far one of the best decisions and money savers I could’ve done for myself. The flowers were top quality, beautiful, and we had a blast putting them together with our family. Flower Mocie is simple and they have videos that will help you prepare in advance for your vision and piecing your bouquets together. I was quoted 5000 for florals by other vendors, but with flower moxie and a little creativity, we only spent 500 to cover 12 bouquets and 16 boutonnières. HIGGLY RECOMMEND

I had a fantastic experience doing my Long Island backyard wedding florals through Poppy. Michelle was our floral consultant, and she was absolutely amazing throughout the whole planning process. I loved the ability to choose florals through the portal while also uploading inspiration pictures and tweaking things with Michelle's help. I was able to share photos, and Michelle assured me that they would be able to create arrangements just like the inspiration photos. Communication through the portal was seamless and quick. On the day of the wedding, I was SO pleased with the flowers. They were even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! Anyelys, the local designer assigned to my wedding, was kind, collaborated beautifully with my coordinators, and did such a wonderful job with the flowers. It was everything I expected and more, just like the photos I had submitted! I LOVED my bouquet in particular. Anyelys also went above and beyond, helping us use extra leftover flowers around the property. We are so grateful and recommend Poppy wholeheartedly! It was an awesome and stress-free experience.

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!
