Haiku Flower Studio creates artful flowers for the modern eye. I'm Amber, a florist, flower grower, and fine artist inspired by nature, sculpture, and Japanese aesthetics. I love designing with seasonal flowers for each couple's unique vision.

My work is influenced by ikebana, the Japanese art of floral design, emphasizing seasonality, balance, and finding the natural beauty in every stem. Designing for Art in Bloom at the MIA brings me joy, as does growing wedding flowers on our small flower farm.

    Above and Beyond

    Amber was absolutely incredible in helping my wife and me plan our wedding. She went above and beyond—visiting the venue, considering the room’s colors, and even factoring in the time of day for our ceremony and reception. Her attention to detail and ability to coordinate the perfect colors and themes brought our vision to life flawlessly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly choose her again!

    Prepare to be WOWED

    As a fellow wedding florist I met Amber at an advanced floral design class and knew right away she was something different. The way she sees a bloom, a branch, or an unexpected element and understands what else it could become is a rare and genuine talent. Her continuous advanced design trainings, certifications, and Ikebana background gives her work a sculptural, intentional quality that is hard to describe until you see it. Basically, her designs are like art you get to move through on your wedding day. The designs aren't just beautiful and artistic, she also has the professional floral training and experiences to ensure the engineering behind the design holds up for your event. If that isn't enough, she also grows some of her own florals, wins Blue Ribbons at the State Fair for her designs, and is featured annually in exhibits at the MN Landscape Arboretum, Mia's Art in Bloom, and probably others! I look to her as one of the next influential floral leaders in the industry.
