When we first reached out, I had a million and one questions (frazzled bride haha) and she was so patient with me! On top of that, she was so accommodating! There were things that I would ask for that she may not have had access to immediately (i.e. a drone, 2nd shooter, etc.) And she would admit to not having these things, but no less than an hour after our correspondence, she would come to me beaming saying "We have a drone now!! We have a second shooter!!" She was always willing to do whatever it took to get the job done, and I absolutely loved that! Her attention to detail during the wedding meant the world to me and my now-husband - he can be a bit shy, but Sophie and her co-shooter Tim were so patient and kind! They got all the shots that we wanted and then some! Our final products were amazing - my favorite part was how receptive Sophie was to feedback! In the end, everything she produced was breathtaking, and boy did we shed a ton of tears while watching! Open and honest throughout the process especially if delays were to be had, we got all of our products in a beyond reasonable time, and now we have a keepsake to remember our wedding for days to come. “Tyler flew out to shoot our wedding in SLC. I could sit here and tell you all the normal stuff, like how friendly he is, or how proactive he is, or how he makes everyone (even somehow miraculously my wife's grandma) feel comfortable on camera, or how his style is cinematic but still keeps the bright, happy, fun vibe of the day, or how my wife still raves out our wedding video as one of her favorite keepsakes from the wedding. I could tell you all of those things, and they are true, but that should all be obvious from his portfolio and his other reviews. Instead, I'll tell you a quick story that shows you who he actually is. On the way to our reception we ended up getting a flat tire (someone other than Tyler was driving, for the record). I was in my suit and my wife was in her dress and so neither of us were exactly thrilled about the idea of crawling around in the gutter on our wedding day. Without a second thought, Tyler jumped out and volunteered to change the tire for us. No one asked him to. That's not in his job description. He just did it, and wore a smile the entire time. That's just the kind of guy he is! We ended up making the reception on time thanks to him. I tend to be a pretty harsh critic and basically never rate anything full points, but Tyler is the rare exception who genuinely earns a 10/10. You won't regret booking him!”

“When my (now) husband and I first started planning our wedding, we were on the fence about hiring a videographer. We’d heard from friends that not having one was their biggest regret, so we decided to explore our options. That’s when we came across Valley Productions, and we are so glad we did! From the moment we discovered Joe’s work, we knew we wanted to hire him for our wedding day. We loved the light, airy aesthetic of his videos and the focused detail shots he shared on his Instagram and website. His communication was fast and thorough; he answered all of our questions in a timely manner, making the whole process seamless and stress-free. Before the big day, he looked into using a drone for aerial shots. He took it upon himself to receive permissions to use his drone (due to the proximity of a nearby airport), and we were amazed to see the breathtaking footage of our venue from above. On the day of the wedding, Joe was nothing short of professional. He had great ideas for poses and shots, and he relayed what he envisioned clearly, making us feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera. His easy-going personality made him a hit with our entire wedding party. By the end of the day, it felt like Joe was just another member of the wedding party. He was cracking jokes, keeping the mood light, and capturing our natural, goofy selves in a way that made the footage feel truly personal. Receiving our wedding video was an experience in itself. Joe sent it to us in a beautiful, hand-painted box, complete with the Valley Productions logo, our last name, and our wedding date. Inside was a hard drive with the video, along with a thoughtfully created movie night care package—popcorn (with plenty of butter, of course), popcorn bags, a movie slate (which doubled as a whiteboard for us to write our wedding date and names on), an expo marker, a card, and two wooden movie tickets engraved with our names and wedding date. It was such a special and unexpected touch that perfectly demonstrates Joe’s passion and attention to detail. If you’re on the fence about hiring a videographer, consider this your sign: Book Joe Valley and Valley Productions! He brings not only an incredible eye and vision for film but a level of passion for the work he does that truly elevates the wedding experience.
