The Downtown Collective Band was established in 2016 as just a couple of guys who wanted to jam out in the attic. We got some small gigs here and there doing hybrid DJ/live music performances. Then we found friends from music school/work that played instruments and made the jam bigger and got more gigs. Now we are known as one of the top bands in the Midwest. We love playing live music because you get a much more authentic experience with people actually playing instruments and sharing what they feel deep down in their soul as they perform! I'm a multifaceted musician, educator, and professional DJ with experience performing alongside professionals from all around the world. I currently perform with four different bands as well as DJ. My passion for creating unforgettable experiences through music extends to DJing, where I entertain crowds at clubs, weddings, and corporate events. I'm pursuing a degree in music business to further develop my skills in artist management, marketing, and music production. I absolutely enjoy what I do, I've been providing solid high quality entertainment to couples all over the state of Iowa for almost 40 years! I started my DJ career in 1984 in Davenport Iowa, at that time I was using two turntables and had to haul big heavy crates of LPs with me. Now I use 2 specifically dedicated laptop computers that hold nearly 100,000 songs, wow isn't technology great!
