Kristen started her career over 25 years ago planning corporate and social events for Marriott International. In 2017 she launched PK Weddings and Events, and began planning beautiful New Orleans weddings. She has a planning style that is calming but passionate, ensuring her couples have everything they wish for on their wedding day. A Bupp Event was built after a huge move to the south and a new baby in tow. After 7 months of an extended maternity leave from events and the DC market I found I really missed events! The creative designs, the logistical details, the 'friendor' relationships. I missed it all. I decided to dive back into events, most specifically weddings, giving me the opportunity to connect with all these beautiful couples and a whole new set of vendors.

At Avenue Design Studio, we began as a floral business, but quickly realized we could offer so much more to our clients. Over our 10+ years of working with couples on those special lifetime moments, we found ourselves stepping in to assist our brides and event clients with planning, vendor coordination, and overall event management.
