When we first reached out to A Floral, we chatted had been chatting with a few different florists. After our conversation with Ayana, the decision was easy. She listened to what we wanted and made it clear that she would get it right. Once we decided to go with her as our florist, the care and support didn’t stop. “Jackie was the absolute best florist to work with! She was responsive, communicative, creative, and meticulous. When I first started searching, I really struggled to find a florist who was within a reasonable budget for our floral requirements. Blooms by JG was able to give us a bridal bouquet, 7 bridesmaids bouquets, 1 pocket boutonnière for my husband, 10 regular boutonnières for the groomsmen/fathers, two substantially large and absolutely gorgeous floral pieces for our arch/arbor, and approximately 90ish single white roses for our centerpieces all within our floral budget! In addition, I wanted to DIY some things and she was willing to work with me on those too. Despite me changing my mind from an array of colorful florals to all white blooms, adding and deleting things, and asking tons of questions, Jackie made sure that our florals were absolutely perfect the day of our wedding. She even moved our arch/arbor into the ballroom to be set up behind our sweetheart table. Jackie was amazing and if you are looking for someone who is easy to work with, responsive, talented, and has beautiful creative vision, she's your girl! Her journey started at the age of six years old, Melissa-May was surrounded by all aspects of creativity. Her ability to visualize things, put them onto paper and create anything from scratch was also apparent at a young age when she completed an illustration of her dream house, then constructed an entire floor plan and a model house made out of popsicle sticks. Furthermore, at the age of 12, her friend’s mother noticed Melissa-May’s gift of artistry and requested that she create cartoon place cards for her daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. She later was asked to create the invitations and centerpieces for her best friend’s Debutant ball.

Everything she put together was creative and beyond beautiful, we especially loved the two large ground arrangements she made for the gazebo during our ceremony which were then repurposed for our sweetheart table. We received so many compliments and requests for her info after the wedding- her work speaks for itself and I feel so lucky to have found her!!”
