The Old Scott Barn truly is a venue like no other! Although the 1800s barn is fully restored, we made every effort to keep the original dairy barn features intact. The upstairs hay loft has a spectacular view of Signal Mountain which you will enjoy as you dance on the new wood floors beneath the old hay trolley above you. When you descend the wrap around stair case and enter the old milking parlor downstairs, you will see a stunning 30 foot live edge wood bar and new 20" wide pine flooring nestled in among the old cow stanchions and milking hardware. It is a unique Vermont experience and the perfect setting for your special party. The downstairs is fully winterized and available for small winter weddings and parties.

“Stone Garden is a country house on a residential road sitting on the Connecticut River. However, when you visit there you get an idea of the beauty of the site. The apple trees next to the outdoor bar, the ceremony site overlooking the river with a mountain in the background, and the semi-permanent barn structure with clear sides all make the site a place to remember. The lights in the apple trees make a beautiful background at night. The DJ's uplights made the semi-permanent structure shine. All of this combines to make a venue that will last in memory as one of the most beautiful around. Frank and Kristin were very communicative throughout the whole planning process. Both Laurel and Livia helped keep all the details in line on the day of. Everything went smoothly the day of our wedding, and if it didn't, we didn't know about it. The historic Horse & Hound is a 12-bedroom lodge in the White Mountains that is perfect for an intimate micro-wedding or grand affair. Guests have easy access to some of the northeast's best hiking, and mountain and road biking. The lodge sits on a quiet country road two hours from Boston, Portland and Burlington, so your guests will have easy access to airport. The eight-acre estate offers variety of options for wedding events, including: an exposed-beam dining room, a large paved patio, upper and lower outdoor terraces, a charming garden and greenhouse, and a horse trailer bar!
