Chelsie Hosmer Photography offers two types of photography styles: contemporary and photojournalism. Chelsie, the owner and photographer, specializes in capturing beautiful images that couples can keep and passed on for generations to come. We’re Rich and Whitty Eleven years ago we were in your shoes, searching for the right photographer for our wedding. Being photographers ourselves, you’d think we’d have had an inside track…but, even with our knowledge and experience of the industry, it was STILL a difficult process to find someone we were comfortable with.

My couples range all the way from attorney’s for the city of Chicago to small town midwest farmers. I’m a good mix of boujee and laidback — a little bit jimmy Choo, a little Lucchese too (but even those boots are pretty boujee.) Needless to say, I’m here for the boujee and the laidback.

By the time she was three years old, Olivia Claggett was asking for a harp teacher. At six years old, she began taking piano lessons with Jean Wonders, and at eight she began Suzuki harp lessons with professional harpist, instructor, and adjudicator Candyce Dunham. She never looked back after her first lesson in October 2007. During her many years as a student, Olivia continued to push herself musically by competing in numerous competitions winning the annual Buckeye Christian School Organization’s spring competition for five consecutive years.

You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!
