“DJ Inessa was absolutely wonderful! From the beginning, she was incredibly sweet, patient, and genuinely invested in making our wedding feel like us. What impressed me most was how much she helped beyond simply being our DJ. She helped coordinate the flow of the reception, communicated with us throughout the process, kept track of important details, and helped make sure everything transitioned smoothly. When you’re getting married, there are a hundred tiny things happening at once, and having someone who notices those details before you even have to ask is incredibly valuable. Our wedding brought together two culturally different families, and she did such a beautiful job making everyone feel included. The music and atmosphere never felt like one side of the family was being asked to fit into the other. It felt like one celebration created specifically for us. One of our favorite moments was the flower girl dance. Our flower girls absolutely loved it! Seeing how excited and happy they were out there dancing was such a sweet part of the night, and it gave them their own special moment that they’ll remember. Their smiles said everything. Another moment that really showed the kind of person Inessa is was when she actually came out and danced in a circle with the little kids. She wasn’t standing behind the DJ booth simply watching everyone have fun. She got down there with them, joined their little circle, danced with them, and made them feel like they were an important part of the celebration. Watching the kids light up around her was incredibly sweet. That small moment said so much about how caring and kind she is. She was warm with our guests, flexible when things needed adjusting, and calm when we needed direction. Instead of feeling like we simply hired a DJ, it felt like we had another person on our team who genuinely wanted the night to go beautifully. We are so grateful for everything DJ Inessa did for us. Joey is an unbelievably talented performer (he played live cello at our ceremony) and a well seasoned DJ. What we didn’t know when we first hired him, was just how much help Joey would be in helping us schedule and orchestrate the flow of our full wedding. We had multiple calls and meetings, well before the wedding day, where Joey kept us informed and confident all throughout. He helped us coordinate the music not only to the most important parts of the wedding, but also to all in the in-betweens, making sure that good vibes were always flowing throughout the whole thing. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to make it all happen. Joey is also someone who is incredibly organized and pays great attention to detail and timing. He kept things moving (even though that was outside the scope of his work) and made sure everything was on schedule. “Turn Up Nashville went above and beyond through the planning process and on our wedding day. From the start our DJ, Jared, was extremely helpful in bringing out details and identifying things that we never would have thought of. He had meetings with us about 6 months out and 3 months out so the timeline of the evening and the details are all squared away well before the normal 30 day mark. So when all the other vendors needed those details, we already knew the answer, which was a huge relief during the final month of planning. During the wedding and ceremony we knew that we needed a solid DJ that could MC the night and run things so we did not have to. Jared delivered on this by keeping the party going, making sure dances and speeches were on time, as well as adjusting to vibes in the room all night. Also shout out to Tyler who went above and beyond for a later add of a photobooth for us. We seriously can't recommend these guys enough, they made the planning process smooth, as well has ran the ceremony music and reception perfectly!”

On our song list, we noted that we didn't want any country music played (unless it was a specifically requested song), and when one of our guests asked him to play 'Cotton Eye Joe', Terrell even came up to me and asked me if it was okay because he wasn't sure if I considered that country music!
