Located in the North Texas town of Krum, Finley Chapel and Event Center is a unique, family owned and operated venue for weddings, celebrations, events and meetings. Less than a 10 mile drive from downtown Denton, our 5,700 square foot location can accommodate up to 150 people in the chapel and up to 100 in the reception hall or garden area. Finley Chapel and Event Center is proud to be located in a unique and historic building which has been updated and includes modern amenities.

As you walk into the Little Chapel in-the-Woods you are entering into a tradition. Located on the edge of Texas Woman’s University, the chapel is a secluded sanctuary that has held weddings since September 1939, a few months before its dedication by Eleanor Roosevelt. We have two beautiful ballrooms to host the wedding reception of your dreams! The Chapel attendant is present to set up the chapel for the wedding, set up the sound system and instruct your vendors on usage, and to oversee the facility. They will be happy to provide limited guidance and answer any questions you may have about the rehearsal or processional. If you desire full-scale coordination you are welcome to provide a planner or even a friend with experience to manage the flow of your wedding ceremony.
