Goodtree Farmstead is an elegant and rustic Minnesota farm event and wedding venue in Northfield, just a short drive from the Twin Cities. Located in rural Northfield, we are a few minutes outside of the quaint downtown area, but also a 15 minute drive from Lakeville or 40 minute drive from downtown Minneapolis or Saint Paul. We are a 14 acre former dairy farm nestled in a wooded area surrounded by green farmland and our very own pond and wandering creek. Our red barn--built in 1897 with soaring ceilings and stunning pegged beams, and the other farm out-buildings have all the charm you need to make your farm wedding or special event dreams come true.

The Peace Garden features hardy alpine plants and dwarf conifers and begins blooming in mid-April. The Annual/Perennial peaks in mid-June and the Rose Garden typically begins blooming in mid-June and lasts until early October. Butterflies and hummingbirds can be seen throughout the summer. The park was originally named Douglas Triangle for the street on which it is located. The name was officially changed to Mt. Curve Triangles (plural), on November 4, 1925, when the previous Mt. Curve Triangle was renamed Fremont Triangle. The park was officially named in honor of Thomas Lowry in 1984. Lowry is best known for developing the street railway system in Minneapolis. The Lowry Hill neighborhood, in which the park is located, was named because he owned most of the land and built his imposing mansion on the hill.
