The Vineyard at J. Creek is a premier venue in Kansas City for weddings, corporate functions, and private events! Located in Platte City, just 30 minutes from Downtown Kansas City. Our stunning venue is nestled next to a 7-acre vineyard that provides a unique and beautiful backdrop for any event. We are fully equipped with everything you need to make your celebration memorable! A ballroom fit for 300 guests seated, a massive outdoor patio, ceremony platform, wine bar and 2 get ready suites are included, plus MUCH MORE!

​Our names are Craig and Nancy Rogge, and we have lived on and owned this property for almost 40 years. We have raised two children here and have used our barns and property all these years to raise horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, and dogs. We have many years of wonderful memories and stories on our little piece of paradise! ​Our barns were built in 1944 by a previous owner, Walter Kurzweil, who our street is named after and who used the property and barns for a dairy farm. Fast forward to 2021, when we began The Rogge Family Vineyard and Event Space, our hope has been and still is to offer a private party rental space rich in rustic barn charm for the hosting of your joyful and memorable event.

Our winery is available for your next special event! Our space is perfect for wedding ceremonies, corporate functions, class reunions and other special occasions. We renovated the historic Daily Drover Telegram Newspaper Building in the Stockyards District of Kansas City’s West Bottoms. Built in 1909, this building served as the production facility and newsroom to the news publication for the livestock industry. Amigoni’s beautiful tasting room in the urban core brings a variety of our wines to the people of Kansas City, where they can be sampled and shared easily. Our space consists of a tasting room, mezzanine, barrel room and patio.

Situated just a short 20-minute drive from downtown Kansas City, 1890 Weddings + Events stands as a distinguished 16-acre wedding and event venue, recognized for its historic charm and elegance. The property boasts two distinct private wedding venues, each featuring outdoor ceremony spaces, bridal suites, groomsmen quarters, and enchanting reception halls. The main venue, 1890, showcases a splendid grand ballroom adorned with chandelier lighting, a versatile cocktail barn, and ample space to accommodate up to 350 guests comfortably including overnight options. Positioned at the property's entrance is a captivating Victorian Era home, originally constructed in 1872 and tastefully remodeled in 1890, offering a picturesque backdrop for your special day.

The Fields is a very special secluded venue with gorgeous views everywhere you look. The backdrop of a warm palette with natural woods makes an ideal canvas for anything from tuscan decor, wine country feels, boho vibes to welcoming country. A unique outdoor amphitheater built into the hillside for ceremonies and a large covered outdoor patio for games or outdoor dining and dancing, make this a one-of-a-kind experience for your most important day. To top it off, every sunset here is spectacular!

Our Vineyard Hall is a beautiful indoor space. You can use the entire floor for seating, or split it for seating and dancing. We have all the tables (rectangular or round), chairs, cream linens you'll need. There are tables for gifts, food, the wedding and grooms cakes, a bar area to keep your drinks cold, and two refrigerators. The Vineyard Hall includes rooms for both the Bride and the Groom to get ready, and a sound system. There is plenty of parking, so all of your guests will have a great day celebrating your wedding. There are no additional fees for outside catering or outside alcohol.

Bourgmont Winery is a tasting room and venue in South Johnson County. Our wine is locally planted and sourced. We aim to create the perfect atmosphere for you, whether it is for an afternoon of wine tasting, a wedding, or a private function.
