Johnny and Alegre from So Behold This Inc. were the perfect wedding photographers for our special day! From the very first interaction, Johnny’s communication was professional, prompt, and caring, putting my husband and I at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of his work is authentic ( which is hard to find nowadays)! He sent us 23 photos the night of the wedding, completely edited ( what other photographer do you know that does that?!). Both of them were pleasurable, enthusiastic, and truly an asset to our special day. They were easy to work with and so attentive, contributing to our wedding day being seamless and more perfect than we could have imagined. I couldn't have asked for a better duo to capture the love and joy of our celebration. So Behold This Inc. is absolutely AMAZING and I highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding!

Hello there! I'm Andrea, owner of Amative Creative, and every weekend we're so blessed to be able to tell the love stories of so many amazing couples. Like many others in this industry might say, we simply adore weddings. But what makes us a little different is our entire brand is centered around telling love stories specifically curated to reflect your vision and aesthetic. "Amative" means to be prone to love, so as you can see, we want nothing more than to tell your love story! But what makes us truly unique is that we understand every love story looks different. And we personalize every aspect of how we document your wedding day!

Awarded Best of Zola
We had a great experience with Amative Creative for our wedding! One thing that really made them stand out was that they offer so many different editing styles to choose from, so we were able to pick exactly the look we wanted. They also got our photos back to us super quickly—about a week after the wedding—which was such a nice surprise. The photos turned out beautiful and they captured all the big moments and some great candid shots. I especially love how cool the dance floor shots turned out. We received tons of compliments on the pictures! Highly recommend!

I am a caffeine addict who never sleeps. I love a good thunderstorm and playing Candy Crush for the brain breaks. I adore all kinds of dogs, but I have a special love for German Shepherds. My all-time favorite thing is to sit by the fire with a glass of good cabernet or watch the ocean waves hit the beach. I love to garden and to build things (but I let my husband to finish all my projects LOL). I enjoy good food and will likely refer to a stand up comedy routine at least once in a conversation. I am also a football mom, lacrosse mom and basketball mom. Wife to a very understanding husband and emotional support person for my big puppies.

Savage Wedding Co.
Rating: 5.0 (10 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Jonesboro, ME

Savage Wedding Co. is for couples who want their wedding to feel like themselves — not a performance, not a production, and not something they have to manage all day. I work with a balance of structure and flexibility: enough direction to keep things moving, and enough space for moments to unfold without forcing them. I don’t chase perfection or try to smooth out every edge. Some moments are quiet. Some are awkward. Some don’t fit neatly into a highlight reel — and that’s usually where the honest stuff lives. I don’t rush past those moments or reshape them to look like something else. I let things be.

My boyfriend hired Robert to do a surprise proposal and engagement shoot and it was perfect! Robert listened to everything we wanted to capture and made our dream come true! We got the photos the day after and I was able to relive that beautiful day again and again. Robert does amazing work and is such a nice and fun guy to have take your photos. If you’re hesitant, don’t be. Book him!!

When I first started wedding photography, I made a goal of being more than just the photographer on your big day. I made it my goal to be your friend, someone you can crack inside jokes with, and someone who isn't afraid to get down + have fun at the reception (while still doing her job). I made it my goal to capture more than just photos, but an experience. Whether it’s high in the mountains, on a beach near the ocean, in a forest meadow - you deserve to get married however you want to & I want to capture it for you.

Lexi did a wonderful job capturing my husband and I’s wedding day! We couldn’t be more grateful for all the amazing photos she took for us. We will cherish them forever! Lexi is a very skilled photographer who pays close attention to detail. Her calm & caring personality was also very comforting for the both of us. Highly recommend L& L photography!

BrightWorks Photography

I have a long history as a photographer, starting in my twenties with large format view cameras, publishing a book of black and white portraits of Newfoundlanders, studying under Ansel Adams at his Yosemite workshops, and with Aaron Siskind and Harry Callahan at the Rhode Island School of Design. Now, my cameras and equipment are all the latest digital models, but I still rely on my experience and a well trained eye for capturing the optimal moment.

Awarded Best of Zola
When my now husband and I first found BrightWorks photography, I was most happy with the attention to color and detail, as well as, the limited editing they seemed to use in their photography. Photographers I had previously been looking, before finding BrightWorks, seemed to place a haze, white cast, or “gloomy” filter on their photography, instead we wanted our photos to be genuine and timeless to last for a lifetime. The BrightWorks team, Stephen and Rebecca, not only photographed the important details of our day but the images captured the colors, fine details, and warm energy our guests brought to our wedding day. Little did I know when we booked BrightWorks that my husband and I would be blown away by the images we got from our engagement shoot and wedding. Weeks before our wedding, Steven and Rebecca took the time to put names to faces before our wedding date so they could just find our loved ones for pictures. Steven and Rebecca truly were the perfect team, they were flies on the wall the entire day and wedding guests said that they seemed to capture every precious moment of the day. We could not be more grateful for BrightWorks.

We feel so lucky to have found Andrew as our wedding photographer. He has an incredible eye for the editorial style and makes his photos into works of art with golden light and chiaroscuro. So many photographers just rely on their high-res equipment but don't offer anything more--I don't want a macro shot of every pore or line on my face like an owl in a tree at 100 yards, I want to have a sense of magic and beauty in every photo. Andrew actually does that. I almost cried when I saw our first look photos because I don't feel very confident being photographed and I finally had dozens of photos of myself and my husband that I want to share with friends immediately and cherish forever. He delivered the first look so fast, even though I know he was busy working another wedding; I thought for sure we would have to wait longer. The wedding package we chose included very nice touches like polaroids so we had something in hand at the end of the wedding day itself, too. It was very thoughtful and left us feeling good about the whole experience right away. He was very personal and nice to work with, but not intrusive, and went with the little schedule changes we had, and was open to suggestions while we took post-ceremony photos around the city. I couldn't be happier with our experience with him and would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a real artist for their wedding photography.

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.

I learned photography 10+ years ago in the darkroom at my high school. From there, I was hooked. Fast-forward to being fresh out of college, in a new city, and needing new friends. I found an amazing group who also loved photography. We traveled abroad and across the country together, sharing our travel photos all over Instagram (which, had just become all the hype). That was all it took for my first couple to ask me to photograph their wedding. I'm now a full-time hybrid wedding photographer!

The best decision David and I made during our wedding planning was hiring Halie for our wedding photography. She is so amazing at what she does and so organized with it! Which is something we have in common, I am super Type-A so the relationship I built with Halie was top tier and it made the whole planning process/wedding day a breeze. For David and I, our Rhode Island wedding was a destination as we are from Maryland so this made things a bit more complex with scheduling and understanding the area. When planning our engagement shoot, Halie made perfect suggestions for different locations to satisfy the different vibes I wanted in our pictures. During the shoot, she put us at ease and helped pose us in different ways to get the perfect shot. She also captured family photos for my family and I while we were all in Rhode Island for wedding planning activities. This helped us have an even closer bond with Halie and she got to see some of the family dynamics. All of the photos were absolutely beautiful!!! Between our engagement shoot and our wedding, Halie stayed in constant communication with me and gave me so many good tips/suggestions/ideas throughout the process. She made us a custom photo timeline for the whole wedding day. This was so helpful and we used her photo timeline as our baseline when engaging with all of our other vendors to ensure they were all on the same schedule. Halie captured pictures of our rehearsal dinner and intimate private sailboat ride with our inner circle. It was so fun to have her there to capture all of our New England details that we had spent so much time planning. Once again, she nailed it and got so many great pictures of us and our families! If you are considering adding rehearsal coverage, this is your sign to do it!!! Now for the wedding day, she truly outdid herself! She came fully prepared to dive into all of the shots and was reassuring me when I realized we were running slightly behind schedule. She was like my director that day and I had complete trust in her for all of it. She remained calm, poised, professional throughout all of the wedding day chaos. All of our wedding party was so impressed by Halie's well thought out photography. When we received our sneak peeks, we were just in utter shock!! They were stunning and exactly what we were hoping for. Halie’s photography style is the perfect blend of romantic and timeless. David and I are forever grateful for the memories that Halie and her team captured on our wedding day. We truly cannot recommend Halie enough! She is amazing!

Art and storytelling is my passion when it comes to photography, but I'm also all about capturing raw real emotions, candid moments, and photojournalism. Aside from photographing your day, I also help with finding wedding vendors & venues, or location scouting and lodging if you're eloping. I want your wedding/elopement process to be as stress free as possible! Whether it's your wedding day, elopement, or another special occasion, I'll work closely with you to bring your vision to life.

I have worked with Krystalle many times over the last few years and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is truly skilled in what she does. She captures images in a way most photographers don't know how; finding the raw beauty and creating art in everyday moments. She is always a pleasure to work with, fun, down to earth, and very easy to connect with!

Kelsie Elizabeth Photography
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $8,500
  • Serves Jonesboro, ME

Kelsie has long been captivated by the quiet magic of photography—the way a single frame can preserve memory, emotion, and legacy. Her earliest work, documenting her uncle’s final birthday, revealed the depth of what an image could hold: joy, grief, love, and connection. Today, she approaches every story with that same reverence, blending artistry and intention to capture fleeting moments that become timeless heirlooms—images that carry meaning long after the day has passed.

Having Kelsie as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding! Kelsie is fun, thoughtful, organized, flexible, and such a talented photographer. Her previous experience as an event planner shone through as she kept in touch and asked careful questions to get to know us and think through our vision. Covid got in the way of many of our plans and we had to reorganize our whole wedding just days out, but Kelsie’s eye for balancing big moments and small details really captured all the special parts of our day. We couldn’t be more thrilled with how our photos and wedding album turned out!

Meeting around 10 years ago and instantly becoming best friends, Jason and Nichole have now been married for 5 beautiful years. They share two children and when they aren't creating amazing wedding day memories for their clients they are out exploring. You can find them skiing, hiking, camping, and even traveling the country in their van when time permits!

Nichole and Jason have been nothing but professional throughout our booking process, engagement photos, and wedding weekend. All of the photos we've received so far we have been absolutely blown away with how good they are. They were great communicating to make sure our needs were met. We felt so comfortable with them and see them not only as our wedding photographer and videographer but someone my husband and I could be friends with. They were really great making sure our Indian fusion wedding was beautifully captured. I can't wait to see all of the photos but the sneak peaks were so good. They also asked questions about the ceremonies that we had to ensure they knew how best to document as well as wanting to sincerely learn more about the culture. You will not regret hiring these two. I would hire them both again in a heartbeat! This husband/wife team creates magic!

Ashely at Sage & Iron Creations was the perfect photographer for our wedding day. Her communication throughout the planning process was detailed and comprehensive, which put us at ease leading up to the big day. The photos she delivered are truly stunning, with rich colors and a romantic, artistic quality that we're so pleased with. We're so grateful to have these beautiful memories to look back on thanks to their hard work. Overall, Sage & Iron Creations provided incredible value and we highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding.

Black Connecticut wedding photographer, purveyor of the artistically-engineered photography experience. That's a crafty way of saying, I'm a computer nerd who's pretty good at photography and believes in great service! Digital image gallery, print rights, and beautiful, physical prints included with every package. My work focuses on telling my couples’ wedding day love stories through the pictures I capture. Artwork is the goal, whether it’s a highly-stylized posed photo or a moment where a loved one is emoting.

Awarded Best of Zola
We found Terrence very early on in our wedding process. His gallery had some of the most beautiful photos we had ever seen; some were dramatic, which is what my husband loves, others were soft, warm, and candid, which were my favorites. To find a photographer that could fit both of our styles was so exciting. Terrence’s package was over our budget, in part because we were marrying in NY, so would have to pay a travel fee. I was convinced I could find someone within budget. I searched and agonized for an additional two months. Finally, my now-husband convinced me that the photos would be the one thing from the day we would get to keep forever and we sprang for Terrence and let me tell you, both of us have agreed the extra cost was more then justified. In high heat and humidity and looming storms, Terrence did everything he could to keep us on-schedule and to get incredible photos at a venue he had never even been to. We just received our sneak peak gallery and all of us are in awe of the photos he captured. We look forward to working with Terrence in the future for other big life moments, and you should absolutely book him too - engagement shoot or wedding, Terrence will capture your moment perfectly!

***PLEASE REACH OUT THROUGH MY WEBSITE*** Hey there! I am Katrina. I am a lifestyle, wedding and elopement photographer. My style is without a doubt moody. I live for those candids. I thrive when you are authentically and unapologetically yourself!

From the moment we booked Katrina Lynn Photography, her communication was prompt, clear, understanding, and above all- she is incredibly sweet. Katrina has an incredible eye for detail, capturing our special day in a timeless, dreamy, and ethereal way. My vision was “candid”, and she did exactly that! The photos she took makes me feel like I'm reliving our wedding day every time I look at them - they truly transformed our celebration into a dream that I get to cherish forever and ever. Katrina was an absolute joy to work with and we are over the moon with the final product. We cannot recommend Katrina Lynn Photography highly enough!
