We worked together on an engagement shoot as well prior to the wedding that he incorporated into my Same Day edit video during the wedding day and let me tell you, it was hands down THE BESTEST VIDEO I HAVE EVER SEEN. And I'm not being biased either because it was my wedding video! Literally, everyone was in SHOCK when the video was played during the reception and it incorporated some shots from the engagement shoot, some getting ready footage and even up until minutes before the video was played. “We had the most incredible experience working with Zaya Event Videography. Oleg takes great detail to ensure the entire process is impressively seamless. Oleg made us feel incredibly comfortable and cared for in front of the camera. The communication was extremely clear, perfectly timed, collaborative, and just generally kind. Oleg’s passion and professional experience make him the ideal videographer- his instincts, ideas, and ability to discreetly capture every important moment make for the perfect final product. Oleg worked so well with our photo team too. I know that some people hesitate to have a videographer on their wedding day because they do not want to feel “filmed,” however I can assure you that you will never feel like that with Oleg. One of my friends even said at the end of the night that she was sad we didn’t have a videographer to capture the night and then I pointed to Oleg and she was blown away with how discrete his equipment and filming style was. I searched for months for a videographer that captured the whole ceremony, speeches, dances, and a heavy amount of highlights from the day. I found that most videographers offered extremely limited packages, restrictive time limits, and only very short videos for prices that were nowhere near realistic. Oleg is worth his weight in gold. They so quickly pieced together the bride and groom's story in such a captivating way. Even though I lived in California, I knew that these were the only videographers that I wanted at my own wedding. I got married at the historic Mission Inn in Riverside, California on June 18, 2011. They were so flexible and enthusiastic to make my day incredibly special. I liked that they took the time to get to know my husband and me as well as our relationship. You could tell that they incorporated our personalities and style in our wedding video, which I loved. My husband and I are both Indian and Fisheye made sure to capture the more cultural aspects of our wedding as well. They were extremely professional, friendly, timely, resourceful, and creative. I was impressed that they came to the venue a few days prior to scope out the best areas to film and to get footage for the wedding. They were very patient with our busy schedules and even waited for us for an hour while we were stuck in LA traffic. They also went above and beyond seeking out special equipment in order to get the best views from every angle, including above. It's been thirteen years since my wedding, and my husband and I are still brought to tears every time we watch our Same Day Edit and wedding video. And every one of our friends who has gotten married after us has asked who our videographer was because they loved the SDE so much. “Chris was amazing to work with. From the start, the pre-planning was super straightforward and gave us total confidence in what to expect. On the day, he worked seamlessly with our photographer - they felt like such a great team and made my fiance and I feel like celebrities for a day. The videos themselves blew us away. The framing, the balance of music and natural sound, and the way he captured the energy of the space (the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles) made it feel like we were right back at our wedding. The sounds quality in particular was unexpectedly amazing-vows, speeches, etc. The end product was cinematic yet tender and honest, and gave us a chance to see the day through our friends’ and families’ eyes. The finished video took a few months, but it was absolutely worth the wait. Reliving the day in this way has been such a gift, and we’re so grateful. Couldn’t recommend Chris more highly.”
