“We booked Loyalty Entertainment to DJ our wedding reception at Bramblewood. From start to finish, we had the BEST experience with them! We were lucky enough to get DJ Loyal himself - who is the most genuinely kind and fun human being you could possibly work with. During our initial meeting with Loyal, he was very welcoming and warm, which made us feel super comfortable in expressing what we envisioned for our music. We were able to use their website to curate a list of songs that we liked for all the big events of the night- entrances, cake cutting, dinner music, first dances, anniversary dance, last dance, etc. We also gave him free reign to change it up whenever he saw fit. He listened to our ideas and our playlist, and he made the night far better than we could have ever even imagined. The dance floor was packed all night, everyone was singing at the top of their lungs, and I got a million compliments on how good the music was and how much fun everyone had. Loyal helped make that happen through his emcee-ing, which got everyone pumped up- on top of the best remixes and transitions. After the wedding, he sent my husband and I a bunch of videos that he took of everyone on the dance floor. It was so much fun to watch those back! Beyond the night itself, Loyal was always just a quick text away. The whole team was quick to respond to emails and questions. They went out of their way to help find a solution when we needed a battery-powered amplifier for our guitarist. TL;DR: book Loyalty Entertainment (& Loyal himself, if you can!) for your DJ. “I don’t even know where to begin — Mike was a highlight of our wedding experience from the time of booking to even now after our wedding has wrapped up. He is a class act, someone who really listens and values you, not just as a client but as a person. We left each call being so appreciative of his kindness (something that can often be left out in the wedding industry) and in awe of his talent/wedding expertise. He helped us curate an amazing reception flow and welcomed our ideas with open arms. Walking into our cocktail hour to his live acoustic set is something I’ll never forget. Our guests were amazed! From our dinner playlist, he shuffled the perfect variety of our favorite songs it had me in tears the entire time. How he handled our announcements and all MC-ing throughout the evening was like nothing I’d seen photographing weddings over the past 5 years — a complete contrast to the flashy, showy MC taglines that feel like you’re being announced into a boxing arena, lol. That wasn’t for us and that also isn’t Mike’s style. We felt like the guests of honor and like each of our planned dances were equally as important to him that they went smoothly and were a special moment for our families. For example, my dad was nervous for his welcome toast and asked for a microphone on a stand instead of handheld. I watched Mike’s assistant literally *run* out to their car and back to accommodate in record time. The dance floor was packed and the songs Mike chose from our playlist were a perfect balance of the genres we love. Mike checked in with us about song/vibe suggestions and was the best advocate for what *we* wanted all day long. (This is the impact of getting to know your clients well!) At the end of the night, Mike organized our remaining guests into an exit tunnel following our private last dance and it was the best way to end the night. While we didn’t want the party to end, we will ALWAYS recommend Mike wherever we can so we can enjoy his talents again. After the wedding Mike sent us a collection of videos and photos he took throughout the day and we will always cherish them. He also wrote us the most thoughtful card and a gift that again, brought me to tears. Last thing - a little thing that might go overlooked - his equipment, lighting and set up, are SO good. Very tasteful set up and the light effects took the party to the next level. Ok! I could go on and on! But I’ll leave with this THANK YOU, Mike and your team for every little thing. We are so grateful.”

Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. I have loved music since a kid. I grew up listening to old Motown, Michael Jackson, Prince, OutKast, Wu-Tang Clan, Jimi Hendrix and Hall & Oates. I watched Video Soul on BET and of course I was a MTV kid like any good 80's baby. I became the resident DJ for 78th Street Studios "Third Friday Art Walk", courtesy of Northcoast Promotions in 2022. I infuse sets that varies in genre, style & eras. I strive to provide a set that is enjoyable for all ages.
