I enjoy serving people. Whether it’s hosting a party, serving a picnic, or opening my home for someone needing a good cup of coffee, I enjoy making others feel welcomed. Charcuterie boards were introduced to me in my twenties. I could release my creative juices and be hospitable at the same time! I didn’t think of it becoming a business until… 2024. This special year gave me the ability to go big and start the business! It’s given me the freedom to serve my community in a new way and I am thrilled to do so! April Hale has been catering in Boise since 2007, but her love of cooking started when she was 9 years old in her parent’s kitchen in Indiana. April’s mom didn’t enjoy cooking, and April didn’t enjoy dishes, so the swap was made, and thus began her love affair with food. She started out with a Chemistry major in college (graduated with a BSBM with a Chemistry minor) and always envisioned her professional career in a lab. Little did she know her lab would turn out to be the kitchen.
