“Selecting Knots in the Pines as our photographer was hands down the BEST decision we made for our big day. I knew immediately meeting Victoria that she was the right match for us because she has such a genuine warmth and kindness about her that makes you feel seen and supported throughout the entire planning process and the day itself. She made sure she really understood who my husband and I are individually and as a couple so she and Joe could bring our vision to life. Having Victoria in our corner made me feel so much more confident planning a Hawaiian elopement from way out of state as someone with no exposure to Hawaii beforehand. She made sure my husband and I were informed on everything we needed to know to make sure the ceremony went off seamlessly and was our #1 supporter who thought of every last detail and helped guide us in the right direction! The process of taking photos with her was completely stress-free because she and Joe felt like old friends by the time of the ceremony. Joe officiated a very tasteful ceremony for us and sang and played music for our first dance. We appreciated the special touches involved in his style and were happy to have a ceremony that both had structure but felt intimate and relaxed. The photos themselves turned out STUNNING and far surpassed any expectations I had. We were overwhelmed by the number of fantastic, frame-worthy shots Victoria captured. To give you an idea, I created a “favorites” album and it literally included 400 photos, which is an insanely good value for their extremely reasonable prices. Our wedding included a variety of locations and Victoria nailed the photography and editing involved with each one. We are classic “awkward photo” people who have no idea how to pose, but with her guidance and vision, we kept hearing that our photos look like something straight out of a magazine and that AI couldn’t create a more beautiful image that Victoria did (in a natural setting with two normal people and a LOT of talent!) Our photos speak for themselves, but I can promise you that booking with them will be a decision you’ll be eternally grateful you made! *Note that some of these photos are screenshots because the resolution of the images was too high for Zola. They’re all crystal clear and high resolution.”

Working with Bethany and John was such a delight from the very moment we had our initial call. We were lucky enough to have our engagement photos taken by Bethany and John and we had such a fun day in Downtown St. Pete. They made us feel so incredibly comfortable and as if we weren't even having our picture taken. “Where do I start…I have so many things to praise about Matthew and his team at CLY by Matthew. The search for our photographer took forever, but once I found CLY and Matthew’s work, it was essentially an instantaneous decision. I left the intro meeting/conversation 100% sure we’d hire him. His and his team’s photography is beautiful, elegant, classic, and natural – and it was so easy to work with them from a fit and personality standpoint. I’ll admit, it’s a little awkward to pose for photography! But in the months leading up, and the day of, the wedding, Matthew and his team made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. “We had Jeanne take our wedding photos for our minimony in Sept 2021. We booked her originally through our wedding planner. Covid restrictions were still in place and required a huge amount of flexibility from all vendors. Jeanne took our couples portraits, helped get everyone in place for our ceremony, and then took portraits with our family and friends. “Jen was amazing! Prior to our wedding we booked our engagement photos with Jen, so we could practice poses. I had a very particular lighting style, and Jen listened to my wishes and used the most amazing light angles and edited the photos in the was I had asked for. Prior to the wedding we had phone calls and meetings to make sure we had a set list of the photos I wanted, so that the day of nothing would be missed and it was stress free. Wedding day Jen captured every moment from getting ready, to the ceremony, family portraits, couples photos and even dances at the reception. Jen is kind, caring, respectful and professional. She was truly a joy to work with and I am in love with my wedding photos! I highly recommend booking your wedding, engagement or any pictures with this lovely photographer!”

“Amy was very responsive and accommodating to our micro wedding. I believe I found her on Zola and was very happy to see that she travels to our state for photography sessions and she was familiar with the area. My partner and I were looking for someone to "go with the flow" as we didn't have much planned. Amy balanced our lack of directions with her obvious expertise, helping to capture our day in the most natural way. A guest later commented, "your photographer was good because I never knew my picture was being taken!" In a group of 20 people, that's a skill. We received our photos back exactly on time and I would recommend Amy to anyone. We're so fortunate to have had her capture the memories of our day.”
