Their communication was clear, timely, and so helpful as we worked through their delicious and comprehensive menu options. Instead of a traditional cake, we chose a mini dessert bar with a variety of treats — and it was a huge hit! Our guests could not stop raving about how amazing everything tasted. Every dessert was beautifully presented and absolutely mouthwatering. One of our favorite thoughtful touches was the small box they put together for us to take back to our room with a sampling of each dessert — just in case we didn’t have time to grab any during the reception (which we didn’t!). It was such a sweet surprise and so appreciated after the whirlwind of the evening. Gingerly Baked exceeded every expectation. “Armana made our wedding cake for our elopement and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. I had so much trouble finding someone willing to make a cake for us because it was a very small elopement, only six people, and it was on a Monday. So many bakeries either never called me back or took weeks to respond. One bakery even quoted me 600 for a six-inch cake. Armana was the complete opposite. She responded, was kind and professional, charged a very reasonable price, and was happy to accommodate the flavor requests I had. Our situation was also a little complicated because our flight to Phoenix arrived the same morning we needed to pick up the cake, and we had to drive it to Sedona. We needed the cake to stay refrigerated for the trip, so I shipped Armana a cooler and ice packs ahead of time. When we arrived, she had everything perfectly packed and ready to go for us. She truly went above and beyond to make this work for us, and I’m so grateful. The cake was beautiful, delicious, and such a special part of our day. I would absolutely recommend Armana to anyone looking for someone talented, reliable, and genuinely helpful.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Gabby and Claudio Cakes! I found Gabby on Zola while planning our 120-person wedding. Though I reached out to other bakers, Gabby stood out with her variety of items, designs, and services. I am an indecisive person, so when I contacted Gabby, we only had a rough idea of what we wanted: a small cake and a dessert table. Gabby’s excellent communication skills helped us find exactly what we didn’t even know we wanted. She took our vague ideas and brought them to life with her creativity. Gabby met with us for a tasting, where we got to try an impressive selection of cake combinations. From what I recall, she offered more choices than any other baker we considered. While we aren’t typically cake people, every single thing we tasted was absolutely delicious. Our wedding was in Ventura County, and Gabby was able to provide delivery from LA. Our wedding started later than usual, and Gabby was flexible with a later delivery time, which was a huge help since our wedding was outdoors—we didn’t want desserts melting before the reception started. Even our coordinator mentioned how great this was since it’s not a standard service. In the end, we ordered around 19 dozen assorted pastries and a small cake for photos. The desserts were such a hit that they were gone almost immediately, and even months later, guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. Some even mentioned being disappointed they didn’t get to try anything because the treats disappeared so quickly. Throughout the whole process, Gabby was professional, knowledgeable, and communicated flawlessly. I truly wish all my vendors were as amazing as her. I highly, highly recommend Gabby, and I’m just waiting for another event to work with her again. Thank you so much, Gabby, for making our day so dreamy!”

“Hippie Bakez was amazing to work with for our wedding cake. They got back to us in plenty of time with all the details we needed, and the quality of their work was incredible. In fact, many of our guests thought the cake was actually ice cream it was so good! They were so amazing she was going to fix anything wrong as she thought something wasn’t right but it was actually some decoration things wrong the cake was perfect! Three weeks later, people are still raving about how delicious our wedding cake was - there was hardly any left after the reception! My husband said it tasted just like ice cream which was the first words he said after his first bite. I'm not much of a cake person myself, but I devoured as much as I could. We couldn't have asked for a better vendor to make our special day even sweeter. I can’t recommend hippie bakez enough if you want a cake to actually be ate go with these amazing people! “I absolutely love Barnett’s Sweets! We had the honor to have them as part of my husband and I’s wedding day! From inquiring on pricing in the beginning, to adjusting plans along the way, they have been there to support and answer any questions/decisions that we had. I first found out about Barnett’s at a Bridal show in Fort Worth Tx and they were giving away these beautiful sparkly cupcakes. I fell in love with how rich yet airy the frosting was and I liked how the cake was a good spongey texture. I ordered a lot of mini cupcake testers for our wedding day and our favorite was the Italian cream with buttercream frosting! Seriously the best! Not too sweet, not overly “cakey”, our guests LOVED it! 10/10 I’ll forever recommend this amazing bakery shop. They definitely go above and beyond”

She guided us through tasting samples and consultation calls with so much care, always staying considerate of our needs, making customizations, and advising us exactly where necessary. While our Red Velvet cake was absolutely delicious on the inside, and she added extra cookies to the cake after our follow-up consultation. We learned a tough lesson about deep-colored frosting. Cheryl warned us about the impacts of using heavy dye to achieve a burgundy exterior (as we wanted to avoid fondant), and we should have listened! The exterior ended up with a bit of a chemical taste and stained everything it touched. Take our advice: Cheryl knows her stuff! If she makes a suggestion on color or texture, trust her expertise—you’ll be in great hands. Aside from our own misunderstanding, the service and cake quality were wonderful.”

“Shannon is the absolute BEST ! To start off- she is a wonderful and kind person, and made this whole experience a huge treat. The consultation and tasting were easy to schedule and very informative. She always addressed our questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner. Details on how to store and preserve our cake were provided, along with great communication with our venue. Although we went for a classic almond cake with raspberry filling, she has a huge selection of fun and unique flavors. Shannon got our vision right EXACTLY ! “Alchemy Bake Lab provided the mini cake and mini desserts for our wedding a few weekends ago. We had SO much fun coming to the bakery for our tasting! They really made us feel so special. We had such a hard time deciding what to choose because literally everything was so good! On the day of our wedding, they showed up on time and set everything up beautifully. We had so many guests tell us how much they loved the desserts and variety. We highly recommend Alchemy for ANY event! Also, pop into their bakery in person.
