The Gatewood is a beautiful, historic wedding venue based in La Grange, KY. Located less than a thirty minute drive from Louisville, The Gatewood provides a laid-back yet sophisticated setting while still being close enough to all conveniences of the city. Built in 1908, this Kentucky wedding venue has been beautifully restored and has since hosted hundreds of events. You and your partner can become a part of the building’s history when you choose to hold your wedding at The Gatewood. Inside, there are several unique spaces across multiple floors for your ceremony and reception, as well as other pre-wedding celebrations, such as showers and rehearsal dinner. Located on the highest overlook in Devou Park above Covington, Kentucky, the 10,000-square-foot pavilion was built and donated by The Drees Company in 2003 to commemorate its 75th Anniversary.
