Some of Wesley’s earliest memories of this ‘entertainment bug’ occured during the early 70’s while he was growing up in Florida. He would pull open the front curtains of his home and put on skits while the neighborhood kids would watch from the front yard. Please don’t think that this means Wesley has to be the center of attention (wink, wink). This really is not the case.

Dj 316 has been keeping dance floors full for over 15 years and continues to build on his already impressive award winning resume on a weekly basis. Born in memphis, tennessee his first love will always be hip hop but his musical library include genres of all types (edm, gospel, chh, house, top 40, reggaeton, latin, rock, etc). He grew up in the memphis club scene and was inspired by the many local dj's in the M-town. He started DJ-ing in college because he loved to hear mixes on the radio and in clubs. Fast forward many parties and many years later and he's still going strong.

I take a straightforward approach to DJing: I focus on the needs of the couple and the logistics, not the spotlight. I enjoy the technical challenge of live mixing and the process of executing a timeline correctly. I am laser focused on getting every single aspect of the event completely airtight, while managing the technical side to ensure the audio is crisp, the transitions are smooth, and the playlist reflects exactly what the client asked for. I pride myself on being able to direct attention where it is needed for your announcement, though I will state I am not the cornball game show host type when it comes to microphone work.
