I’ll preface by saying this is my second marriage and can compare my experience with to my first wedding. Catering By Uptown was fantastic from the beginning. They have excellent responsiveness, attention to detail and the food is amazing. Everything we wanted on our wedding day was accomplished. The only slight frustration I experienced was not having contact with our specific day of coordinator until the week of the wedding. But that didn’t even end up being an issue because, as I mentioned, everything was perfect. They’re so flexible and easy to work with. Though I wasn’t communicating with the same person every time I had questions, their internal communication was so strong and efficient that it seemed like I was talking the the same person. I can’t recommend them enough.

From our first meeting with Rachel at King Cole Farm, we knew we were in good hands. Rachel was outstanding throughout the entire process - from our initial visit to the day of the event and even in the days after. She always had a warm smile on her face and took care of anything that came up, no matter how big or small. Rachel put us at ease and made the entire weekend a fabulous experience. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The beautiful scenery where the ceremony took place, the lovely cocktail hour space, and the grand barn doors that the wedding party walked through - it was all an amazing experience. There was plenty of room for the caterer, bar, desserts, late night snacks, and of course, dancing! On the day of the event, we had the pleasure of working with the intern as well. She was so kind, giving rides to the ceremony and back to the cocktail hour and house for our elderly guests. She also helped us with the cleanup at the end of the night. The entire King Cole Farm staff is truly top-notch. I am still getting phone calls, text messages and social media posts that it was the best wedding they have ever attended! I would highly recommend King Cole Farm to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-run wedding venue. We had such a wonderful experience, and I hope to use them again in the future!

We attended one of their Saturday open houses for our initial tour and were immediately impressed - not just by the stunning waterfront venue and all the flexible, thoughtfully designed event spaces, but also by how knowledgeable, professional, and confident the entire team was. We left that tour knowing we’d be in the best hands and we were absolutely right. Every step of the planning process was seamless - from the delicious food and drink tasting, to room blocks at their on-site inn, to spa services, to vendor coordination and final timeline planning. Everything was organized, stress-free, and incredibly well executed. Samantha, our coordinator, was truly a rockstar. She answered every one of my many (many!) questions with patience and clarity, and always helped ease any nerves I had in the weeks leading up to our wedding day. Her responsiveness and calm presence made all the difference. The wedding day went absolutely flawlessly. Everything ran like clockwork. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing—every vendor knew where to go and when to be there, and all the details we’d planned came together perfectly. The space is absolutely beautiful, and everyone keeps talking about how stunning our wedding and the venue were. I had the privilege of filming an event here and was so impressed with all the thoughtful details Laura and her team have thought of to make this space a dreamy spot for hosting guests. The private pond, fields upon fields of lavender, pergola cocktail area, wooded paths, and the adorable grazing sheep are just a few of the stunning backdrops for your special event and each is *chef's kiss* in creating that special, whimsical look any couple would love for their day. The moment I saw Bohemia Overlook, I knew it was the Wedding venue for us. The Venue is affordable and offers a good amount of accommodations that other venues do not and would cost extra even. The little things do matter, it adds up as we all know. The Venue kept in great contact with me and responded to me right away with questions I had through the whole experience and worked with me. Such a beautiful Venue. Was nervous when I found out a new owner took over, but realized quickly I didn’t need to be. The new owners kept up with the same pace of communication and response time and even on our Wedding day they greeted us and made sure everything was going good. We even got a beautiful view of the water on the hill for some wedding photos. My Wife and I enjoy coming here for different events and the wine room when it’s open. This place will forever be a cherished memory and not everyone can say that they can go back to where they got married. So much more to say about this place, but without going on a rant, just know this place is amazing. To even include how beautiful the barn looks upstairs at night, wasn’t expecting that since we usually see it during the day.

The Perfect Venue for Our Wedding We cannot recommend Guilford Hall enough as a wedding venue. From the moment we first toured the space, we knew it was the perfect fit for us. The combination of the industrial aesthetic with Art Deco details set the stage for an unforgettable celebration. We held our ceremony in the Beer Garden, hosted cocktail hour in the Beer Garden using the Cocktail Room and Cigar Lounge, and had our reception upstairs in the Crown Room. The flow of the event worked perfectly, and the pictures we captured in those spaces are absolutely incredible. The venue fit our style in every way. We chose a buffet for dinner, and it was amazing. Our guests are still talking about how much they loved the food—especially the crab cakes, chicken, and steak. Our signature drinks were made just how we wanted them, and the bar service was top-notch. A huge shoutout to Chef Mauricio and the entire kitchen staff for going above and beyond to help us curate the perfect menu and flawlessly serving 115 guests. The food was incredible and never stopped coming—our guests couldn’t stop raving. We also want to give special recognition to Dani, the Events Planner at Guilford Hall. Dani made us feel incredibly comfortable from start to finish. She went out of her way multiple times to make sure everything went smoothly and that we felt at ease throughout the process. Her attention to detail was unmatched, and without her, we would have been all over the place. She is absolutely incredible—if you have the chance to work with her, take it. She went above and beyond every step of the way to make our day perfect. Working with the entire Guilford Hall team was an absolute breeze. The MCHC was the greatest place to have a wedding. We got married outside in the courtyard and had the reception in France Hall, which was a great multi-purpose/event room that was easy to use and adapt to our purposes. The staff was extremely friendly and they had an on-site coordinator/assistant there for the rehearsal and day of. When it looked like it might rain and we wouldn’t be able to use the courtyard, they offered to open up another part of the museum to our guests to compensate. They also had a decent amount of parking available to our guests, rare in the middle of Baltimore. Overall I loved having my wedding in such a special place
