“From day 1 working with Tyler we knew this was our venue. He was able to answer all questions and always got back to us in a timely matter. Then we started working with Cathy and she made the process as easy as possible. She made sure we were comfortable and that we had all paperwork needed. She was very sweet! The venue itself was very beautiful, we got so many compliments on choosing the Warrington, as well as compliments on the food. The food was AMAZING! If we had to do it again, we would choose the warrington a thousand times. Thank you all again”

“My fiancé and I were looking for a rustic wedding venue, not a ballroom, preferably a venue with space to be outside (weather permitting). We visited a few options in the Philly area and fell in love with the John James Audubon Center! The space offers SO many options for an outdoor or indoor ceremony. They host receptions in the pavilion which is open with huge windows and firepits outside! The site is beautiful, and everyone we’ve worked with has been immensely helpful! After officially booking for our October 2024 wedding, we planned to visit with our parents. What was originally intended to be a quick stroll around the grounds turned into an impromptu tour with the venue manage. She answered all of our parents' questions and even brought out photo books of previous weddings for us to flip through together. With the wedding right around the corner now, we could not be more thrilled with our decision and can't wait to be there next month to celebrate our big day!”

“Barn on Bridge provided an exceptional experience for our wedding day! Amanda Frangoulis, our event manager, went above and beyond to ensure every detail aligned with our vision, including arranging a private tasting when my husband couldn’t attend the quarterly one. I provided a detailed menu that reflected my vision for a fall rustic wedding, and the culinary team executed it with incredible precision. For hors d’oeuvres, we selected salmon deviled eggs, southwest crab cake bites, lobster mac & cheese bites, Caprese skewers, and Mediterranean lamb burger sliders with tzatziki sauce. Our first course was an unforgettable butternut squash sweet potato soup with pumpkin seeds poured tableside over butternut squash cubes—a show-stopping experience! For entrees, we had spicy honey-glazed panko-crusted salmon, apple cider-glazed chicken, and butternut squash ravioli with brown sage butter sauce and toasted pine nuts, paired with kale & apple salad, garlic Parmesan green beans, and sweet potato mash (If you ever use these dishes, you’re going to have to credit Barn on Bridge and me!). Guests raved about the delicious and perfectly executed dishes, and I was thrilled to hear the culinary team plans to adopt some of my suggestions into future menus! Thalia, our day-of coordinator, ensured everything ran seamlessly and went the extra mile by preparing leftovers for us—a thoughtful touch that allowed us to savor the incredible food later. I also want to emphasize that successful weddings are a partnership. Often, dissatisfaction stems from a lack of clear communication, but this team is exceptional at walking you through every step. They genuinely care about your vision and execute it with precision. I felt supported, valued, and cared for throughout the process. If you communicate your ideas, Barn on Bridge will deliver above and beyond. I wholeheartedly recommend them for an unforgettable wedding experience!”

“"We had our ceremony and reception at The Ardmore Music Hall July 2017 and would choose it all over again! Our guests rave to us still that it was the coolest and best wedding they have ever attended. We are owners of a party band that perform at reception venues all over the tri-state area and we chose AMH because we wanted to marry on stage in a fun, relaxed, and unique environment. The staff could not have been more service-oriented from preplanning meetings up to and including servicing the guests. We have many compliments for the manager Sara for allowing us to decorate as we wanted, making "themed cocktail drinks", coordinating the rest of the very friendly staff and for going above and beyond etc.. We had many bands play throughout the evening and all of the musicians were impressed with the sound crew at AMH, they were absolutely perfectionists with the sound and lighting! Most compliments that we received were that it was such a warm, cool vibe, filled with love throughout the event....exactly what we hoped for. "”

“The Drexelbrook did an excellent job hosting our baby shower. Their buffet and dessert bar options were delicious and plentiful. They took good care of our guests who needed vegan, gluten-free options or a kid's meal. One of the highlights of our celebration was a "make your own bouquet" bar for guests. It was an option that Drexelbrook suggested, based on our shower theme. They worked with us to ensure that we could decorate and arrange the space to meet the needs of our event. “If you were on the fence about having your wedding at the Ballroom At Ellis preserve, or honestly at any of the Finley catering venues, DO IT IF YOU POSSIBLY CAN. As a generally detail oriented and type A person, I cannot fully express how exceptional the entire planning and day of process was with Finley. We worked closely with Meagan who was extremely responsive and helpful the entire time. As a bride, on the day of the wedding neither I nor my family had to think about a single detail – Finley handled it all. Savannah was our maître d’ for the day of the wedding and she was exceptional and made sure we were where we needed to be, when we needed to be there. Numerous people have told me that they have never been to such an incredible wedding and that everything flowed perfectly well and took the perfect amount of time. We didn’t even need to hire an outside planner or day of coordinator. And everything was perfect. This particularly blessed me because my husband and I had a six month engagement. We got engaged on January 30 and married on August 16. Planning the wedding in this short amount of time was made easy because of the expertise of Finley. Finley worked with us to ensure that we had all of the details we wanted for the day of, and also went above and beyond to make the planning process stress-free. I was particularly grateful that we did not have to bring in outside rentals – linens, China, silverware, tables and chairs, etc. was all done through Finley and it streamlined everything. It was so nice to just have to talk to one person instead of coordinating with numerous vendors. Megan also had great recommendations for other vendors! And I have to say - the food was AMAZING. We still have people raving about the food from our wedding, especially the insane cocktail hour display. Our dinner service was perfect, professional, and delicious. The venue itself was beautiful and beyond my dreams. It has all of the tradition of a historic building, with modern amenities and capacity for 200 people. The entire space is perfect and clean. Elegant and beautiful. The bridal suite’s size and the bridal attendants made the getting ready process seamless and kept the space calm and organized. I also appreciated how straightforward and transparent Finley was with their pricing and all that it included. Deeply refreshing to see from anyone in the wedding industry. I am a fan of Finley for life, the ballroom at ellis preserve was beyond my wildest dreams, and I am so grateful for their work to truly make the day the best of our lives.”

She clearly has a ton of experience with planning and organizing events, and on the day-of, Deyna made sure we had the most carefree and fun time! The cocktail hour & reception space were perfect for my husband and I. We hosted about 80 people, so everybody had a lot of room to mingle and have drinks and dance. We chose to do stations for dinner, and they were a hit! Everybody told us how much they enjoyed the food during the cocktail hour and reception. The chef at Manayunk is very good! Deyna helped us choose all of the food in the months leading up to our reception which was also a load off our minds! We had a great time utilizing the bridal suite in the hours before our reception - it was a great space to have drinks and snacks with our family, put together some of our decor, and get ready. Deyna and the other staffers helped us tremendously by putting together the reception & cocktail hour space with all of our decorations, flowers, and photos. Deyna provided recommendations for vendors, so it was easy to choose a DJ (John Cicala from Silver Sounds) who already knew the venue! We can’t recommend Manayunk and Deyna enough. They were so wonderful to us! Thank you for everything!”

Since I don't live close, I appreciated that the planning was done by zoom calls. The team was anxious to understand our expectations and delivered beautifully. My 2 celiac guests felt very comfortable with their food choices. My guests were continually commenting on how delicious the food was. The specialty drinks were a big hit too! The coffee bar was used quite a bit as well. Everyone on the team that I met at the event were helpful and responsive just like Nicole was from the time we started planning. The servers were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!!!”

“Our wedding spanned five different exhibits/areas of the Penn Museum -- from a procession in the Stoner Courtyard to the ceremony in Pepper Hall, to cocktail hour in the Lower Level Egypt exhibit (where the Sphinx used to be), to dinner in the Chinese Rotunda, and finally dancing in the Upper Level Egypt exhibit. Being surrounded by the galleries in a beautiful venue made for a unique and unforgettable event! Everything went smoothly thanks to the thoughtfulness and attentiveness of Atiya German and Michelle Bach (CxRA). They helped us accomplish our vision for our wedding, and were accommodating to our special needs for food, decor, a few young children in attendance, clothing changes, an unexpected light rain on the wedding day, and even a horse at the procession! Prices were very reasonable, especially when compared to other similar venues in Philly, and we were only ever charged for what we used. I highly recommend Penn Museum and working with Atiya in particular.”

The magnificent columned Marble Rotunda, with its view of a classic grand staircase, sets the stage for any occasion. “This place is really the spot for a once in a lifetime dark romantic wedding. First of all, the venue really speaks for itself. The spaces, from the garden to the ballrooms are so beautiful, it doesn't really require a lot of dressing up. Also, when you go with the College of Physicians, you get a full buyout. The whole place is yours, including museum access, which was super important to us. The in house caterer, Catering By Design also makes the whole process a turn key solution. They have the tables, linens, silverware, plates, and a super team. No need to source everything from a million vendors. Despite the fact that they are the exclusive caterer, CBD does not take your experience for granted. They put a ton of care into bringing your vision to life, the food is truly superb, and was a consistent hit with our friends and family. A few things we feel should mention. The museum does have some form of plans for renovations and expansion. We recommend checking with the current status of their plans before committing 100%. We also found that those plans can shift slightly, and for us it was beneficial to be flexible on things like the grooms suite and our first look location. With that being said, we would absolutely have our wedding here again. The rates were extremely reasonable for what you get, and for us it was so unique and memorable. We want to give a special shout out to our contact at CBD Ginger, and Carolyn who handled florals. Thank you guys for making our wedding the best night of our lives.”

Pepper Hall with candlelit mood and florals added was like a soft classic library from a fairytale, our ceremony in that room felt magical. Our guests loved running through the exhibits during our happy hour, the little ones invited were playing in there most of the night. Last but not least our Franklin Hall reception was breathtaking and so much fun! Tara and the FI team made communication and planning a breeze. Tara especially was the greatest reference for any questions or worries we had. She was positive, so responsive, and had solutions and advice for everything!
