“I don’t think I have enough room here to right everything I’d love to say about armana and our wedding cake! Working with armana was so easy and she was very accommodating. During our cake tasting trial, we had custom ideas we wanted and she accommodated us to do a second cake tasting. My fiance and I were all over the place with the designs we had thought of and she was beyond patient with us and made the most beautiful mock ups to make our visions come to life. Armana doesn’t just crate cake, she creates literal art. We settled for her signature churro cake but with almond frangipane filling (like the inside of a croissant) and our guests RAVED about it. It’s the most delicious cake I’ve ever had. I really hope we get to work with Armana again. Thank you thank you!!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Gabby and Claudio Cakes! I found Gabby on Zola while planning our 120-person wedding. Though I reached out to other bakers, Gabby stood out with her variety of items, designs, and services. I am an indecisive person, so when I contacted Gabby, we only had a rough idea of what we wanted: a small cake and a dessert table. Gabby’s excellent communication skills helped us find exactly what we didn’t even know we wanted. She took our vague ideas and brought them to life with her creativity. Gabby met with us for a tasting, where we got to try an impressive selection of cake combinations. From what I recall, she offered more choices than any other baker we considered. While we aren’t typically cake people, every single thing we tasted was absolutely delicious. Our wedding was in Ventura County, and Gabby was able to provide delivery from LA. Our wedding started later than usual, and Gabby was flexible with a later delivery time, which was a huge help since our wedding was outdoors—we didn’t want desserts melting before the reception started. Even our coordinator mentioned how great this was since it’s not a standard service. In the end, we ordered around 19 dozen assorted pastries and a small cake for photos. The desserts were such a hit that they were gone almost immediately, and even months later, guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. Some even mentioned being disappointed they didn’t get to try anything because the treats disappeared so quickly. Throughout the whole process, Gabby was professional, knowledgeable, and communicated flawlessly. I truly wish all my vendors were as amazing as her. I highly, highly recommend Gabby, and I’m just waiting for another event to work with her again. Thank you so much, Gabby, for making our day so dreamy!”

In fact, many of our guests thought the cake was actually ice cream it was so good! They were so amazing she was going to fix anything wrong as she thought something wasn’t right but it was actually some decoration things wrong the cake was perfect! Three weeks later, people are still raving about how delicious our wedding cake was - there was hardly any left after the reception! My husband said it tasted just like ice cream which was the first words he said after his first bite. I'm not much of a cake person myself, but I devoured as much as I could. We couldn't have asked for a better vendor to make our special day even sweeter. I can’t recommend hippie bakez enough if you want a cake to actually be ate go with these amazing people! “We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding baker! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely incredible. The tasting experience was super easy and stunning. Our traditional tiered cake was stunning, elegant, beautifully crafted, and topped with sugar flowers that were so realistic that I genuinely thought they were fake at first. The level of detail and artistry was beyond anything we imagined. I had tears in my eyes when I saw her bring in the cake. What truly set our baker apart, though, was her willingness to take on something completely unique. We asked for a “bleeding armadillo” cake inspired by Steel Magnolias (not exactly a typical wedding request but if you know, you know) and even though she wasn’t familiar with it, she absolutely nailed it! Not only did it look fantastic, but it was also delicious and a huge hit with our guests. After the tasting, we requested that the red velvet be a little darker for the effect of the bleeding armadillo from the movie. Again, she surpassed our expectations. Her creativity, skill, and dedication made our wedding desserts are truly unforgettable. If you’re looking for someone who can deliver both classic elegance and fun, personalized designs, we wholeheartedly recommend her! “It is truly an understatement to say I love cake. It is actually my weakness! So when I was searching for a bakery or baker to make my wedding cake, I really wanted to make sure I was not only going to love the look and taste of it but also choose someone that is actually passionate about it. I reached out to so many places and no one responded so kindly and promptly like Natasha. It is no doubt that her work is impeccable (what you see in pictures does not do justice to how even MORE beautiful it is in person), but her communication throughout the process and commitment to executing your vision is incomparable to other bakeries and bakers. I had a very intimate/small wedding (15 people), and other bakers made me feel like my event wasn't worth their time and effort to make, but Natasha was so sweet and kind - made me feel like she genuinely wanted to make our day special. I especially loved that she offered a cake tasting for us even though we were only ordering a small 2-Tier cake. Other bakers refused to do a tasting unless I was intending to spend over 700. All of the flavors she offered were SOOOOO good! It was tough to choose one but we are beyond satisfied with the berry shortcake flavor Everyone at my wedding was so impressed by the cake. So clean, chic and timeless. She truly executed my vision from just the one inspiration picture. Unfortunately I did not get any clear pictures of the cake due to the dim lighting in the restaurant . My guests were also amazed how moist and tasty it was too (make sure to follow her recommendation to serve cake at room temperature to enjoy at its full potential). You can really feel the love, time and effort she puts into her work!!! A TRUE TALENT. She was very honest and reasonable when it came to pricing as well! I definitely plan to work with her again for future events”

“Shannon is the absolute BEST ! To start off- she is a wonderful and kind person, and made this whole experience a huge treat. The consultation and tasting were easy to schedule and very informative. She always addressed our questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner. Details on how to store and preserve our cake were provided, along with great communication with our venue. Although we went for a classic almond cake with raspberry filling, she has a huge selection of fun and unique flavors. Shannon got our vision right EXACTLY !
