Once you step foot on our property, the beauty of our surrounds coupled with the rich history of the grounds is hard to escape. We have a swimming dock and floating jump pad by our lakeside beach, kayaks, paddle boards, and other water toys to check out and enjoy, miles of trails around the lake and from the property, volleyball sand courts, tennis courts, open fields for lawn games, a streamside wood fired hot tub, bonfires, and so much more. Ogontz is more than a wedding venue, it is an experience.

“From the first time we met with the team at Ogontz Rustic Resort, we were impressed by their timely, genuine, and knowledgeable communication. They took amazing care of us and all our guests, from the 3-month-old babies to my 91-year-old Grandpa, ensuring our wedding day was truly incredible and a family affair. It was incredibly important to us to have all of family and friends in one spot for the weekend. We had guests from all around the globe, and everyone agreed there was no where like it. I highly recommend the firework send off at the end of the reception. It’s a wonderful show. The Ogontz team went above and beyond. We are so grateful. Not only is the venue and the grounds amazingly stunning. The food was on point. Every meal was taken care of and no one complained. (When does that happen??) It's been over a month, and our guests are still raving that it was the best wedding they've ever attended. Ogontz Rustic Resort provided us with the best weekend of our lives, and I highly recommend them to any couple looking for a beautiful, welcoming venue that will make their special day unforgettable. Turning Stone Farm is a small-scale, family owned and operated integrated agricultural farm, event venue and creative studio located in Greensboro, Vermont. At the heart of our property is a historic 1880s post and beam barn that we have been restoring for over 30 years. This agricultural cathedral is perfect for intimate gatherings and a variety of activities, a ceremony, music, dancing, cocktails and reception. Our spacious grounds surrounding the barn feature a hay field, a variety of trees, orchard, berry bushes, grape arbor, yards and vegetable and perennial gardens. Our property is just a half-mile from Caspian Lake and the village and a few miles to Hill Farmstead Brewery. Located in the heart of Vermont’s finest food, beverage, and craft producers, we work closely with a variety of great local vendors who can provide you with anything you might want and an experience you won't forget.

“My husband and I got married at the Exit 33 courtyard and had our reception at the Tourqouse Tiger at Turning Stone. We live and Denver but wanted to have our wedding in New York since that is our home state. We were super nervous about planning a wedding from across the country but Turning Stone blew us away! There were so many package options and we found one that was perfect for us for a pretty affordable wedding price. Additionally, it came with a wedding planner and we hit the jackpot with Quiana Morgan. She was incredible and my husband and I refer to her as THE GOAT! She was detailed, attentive, and made everything about us and what we wanted, she never made us feel pressured and did anything she could to make sure we had everything we wanted. We had a very non traditional wedding, so we asked for some out of the box accommodations and we never heard the work no from her. On top of that, she’s just a great person with a great personality and made the whole experience so fun for us. Come day of the wedding, she had everything planned out, did all the decorating and made me vision come to life, it was absolutely gorgeous. She kept the show running and everything on time and was there to support us through the whole day. She holds a special place in our hearts and I would do any event with her 1000 times over. The venue was beautiful, the food and drinks were amazing, and all of the staff working our wedding was so sweet and just showered us in compliments and amazing vibes. The casino itself was also amazing and there was so much to do. We partied all night and made the best memories. I also got my makeup done at the spa and I looked flawless, it was amazing. Would recommend turning stone weddings for anyone looking for an amazing venue!”

“We had our wedding reception at Basecamp Brewing and honestly could not have asked for a better experience! From the planning process all the way through our wedding day, the event team was amazing. They were always so helpful, responsive, and attentive, and made us feel like we were in good hands throughout the entire process. On the day of our wedding, the staff went above and beyond to help everything run smoothly. They were also incredibly helpful with our outside vendors, which made such a difference. Everyone was willing to jump in and help wherever they could, and it took a lot of stress off of us so we could actually enjoy our day. The kitchen did an incredible job with our meal. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious, and we had so many guests compliment the food throughout the night. Our bartenders were also amazing! They kept up with everyone all night, kept the drinks coming, and were so friendly and attentive. They made some really great drinks and did such a great job keeping everything moving. We are so thankful to the entire Basecamp team for helping make our wedding reception such a great night. Everyone worked so hard and really helped make the day special for us. “We had our welcome party here, which was the last stop on a bike brew tour we took with our closest friends and family and it was such a blast! Molly took care of everything, it was set up so nicely and exactly as we had discussed, they went above and beyond to ensure the offerings were gluten free and delicious, and helped us make a custom (and very cute) menu. Our guests loved the space, the food, and the drink. We have loved Stowe cider for years and loved getting to include them in our wedding festivities! Would absolutely recommend!!”
