That experience shaped my style: deeply seasonal, textural, and guided by an intuitive understanding of form and color. My aesthetic is loose and intentional, layered with luxurious texture and touched by a sense of intentional wildness. A steward of sustainable design, I avoid floral foam and plastics, and aim to use local materials wherever I can to have the lightest footprint on our planet possible.

Christina is a local Vermonter who’s crafted wedding flowers for over 25 years. In 2015, Christina and her friend Cindy took the leap and started their own wedding floral business, A Blooming Affair. Since then, Christina and Cindy have been flowering all over New England and upstate New York. Growing up, I spend a lot of my childhood in the garden with my dad. We planted together. I fell in love with this natural world of sweet berries, fat toads, and giant tall yellow sunflowers. My love continues to this day with my own fruit trees and flower beds where, during the summer time, I grow dahlias, zinnias, sunflowers and lots of other wonderful flowers for weddings. I collect wildflowers in the woods and fields near my home.
