“We had a fantastic time at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. We chose it for its seclusion and natural beauty, and even our local guests were wowed by the “hidden gem” we found. The best of the best: -we did our first look and private vows in the meadow, it gave us a scenic, private backdrop for a special moment. There was a hiker or two, but everyone was very respectful of the moment we were having! -staff is super kind and lovely, everyone I talked to treated us with kindness and excitement -they make it very easy to walk through all the paperwork and materials they need -they recently acquired their own tables and chairs and even helped with the floor plan! Less to rent. -they now have their own alcohol packages and I was thrilled that this was one less thing to juggle as we started planning. We just picked our package and our menu! -they did a great job coordinating with other vendors in terms of the timing of set up and tear down, and from our perspective, everything flowed very smoothly! Things to note if you’re considering: -you have to use one of their recommended caterers. We LOVED Nick at hazelnut catering. He is so nice and a seasoned PBG caterer -you have to rent a tent through Ambasssdor Tent Rentals for most wedding sizes. You’ll also need to rent your linens through there. -they don’t really have a waiting area for guests. We had a handful of guests that showed up generously early. Some snuck into the ceremony area and got in the way until one of the coordinators asked them to wait outside, and two elderly family members were let into the bridal suite by my dad so they had a place to sit until the gates officially unlocked. If the gate is locked, there’s not really anywhere for guests to sit down until they get in unless they walk across the parking lot to the welcome center. I would keep this in mind as you are planning day of logistics. -there are multiple add on packages, and I was skeptical, but they are worth it! The all inclusive package includes set up and tear down assistance, as well as cookie table set up (huge help for a big cookie table crowd). The s’mores and yard games provided an extra activity and was a hit among all ages.”

From the beginning Francesca went above and beyond to always keep us informed and to help make our vision come true. As a stressed bride she helped keep me on track with what needed done and was my peace of mind that everything was going to be great. “Their communication style was poor, often accusatory and defensive when we tried to clarify details with Kelley. However, the value was great - they allowed our pup to be part of the ceremony, which was a special touch. But we had to get any promises from the coordinator, Kelley, in writing, as many things that were "included" in our initial meeting ended up costing extra. Overall, the lack of transparency and professionalism made planning more stressful than needed but overall the day went very well the ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a blast.”

Originally built in 1860 along Glen Eden Road, the barn, owned by the estate of Gene and Dee Graham, descendants of early settler of Cranberry Township, Matthew Graham, was slated to be sold as part of a real estate development and eventually torn down. The barn and farmhouse had been in the Graham family since its original construction, but was restored by Gene and Dee in the 1950’s as they started their own dairy farm, Brookvue Acres. For the next half century, the barn was the epicenter of daily life for the Graham family. All six children and numerous farm hands pitched in to help run the dairy. Resigned to spend more time with their grandchildren, the Grahams retired in 1998, happily closing that chapter of their life. Their legacy carries on in Graham Park, a donation of their farmlands to the community, in Cranberry Twp.

“Hosting our wedding at the New Hazlett Theater was a total dream. When looking for a venue for our reception, we were seeking a place that reflected our personalities. It's so hard to find a unique venue with character and history, and the space itself is all of that! It was so fun to be able to celebrate our wedding in a place where we had previously attended shows. The theater is unique yet timeless, and we were thrilled that we could spend part of our wedding day there. Beyond that, working with the team there was such a seamless and amazing experience. From our first meeting the team made me feel so taken care of - it was like meeting trusted friends. They were so easygoing and friendly, and brainstorming ideas with them was so fun. Every little detail was just as I had envisioned. It was so important that we worked with business that aligned with our personalities but also values as well, and we absolutely found that in the team at New Hazlett Theater. Our wedding day was so special as it was the only time in our lives that everyone we love and care about most will be together under one roof - and hosting it at the New Hazlett Theater made it EVEN MORE special.”

“When looking for a wedding venue we knew we wanted something more unique and fun, and the Warhol was a perfect fit. We did have some initial hesitation about the quick turnaround time from the museum closing to our event starting, but we were reassured by the Warhol team that they do it all the time and it would not be an issue. And it truly was not an issue at all, they are PROS and had the room set up perfectly even ahead of schedule. There are also so many activities / fun activations you can have at your wedding with the Warhol like gallery tours, a custom photobooth, and screen printing. The food was also excellent! When people ask where you're having your wedding and you say "The Andy Warhol Museum" be prepared for a lot of "oh wow" and "that's so cool" because it really is so special to be able to host an event here and guests will love it. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Dylan and LaSawn on the Carnegie Museums/Warhol team and Heather from the Culinaire catering team who were all so wonderful and kind. Extra-special shoutout to Heather because we worked with her from day one and she is just AMAZING, and truly one of the best parts of our wedding planning process. If you're considering the Warhol for your wedding, you won't regret it!”

“I had a wonderful experience working with Lydia and Kristen. We held out welcome party at the Art Room and used their sister company, PA Market for passed apps and a charcuterie table. Bartenders and staff were efficient and kind. The space is a blank slate that you can design! It was really nice that they provided linens. We had about 100 people and there was PLENTY of space. Even a little too big of a space for 100 - i think 150 would be the perfect number for a non-seated event”

“The communication leading up to our wedding at the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History was a bit challenging, as there seemed to be a lot of turnover with the staff. We had to retell our plans multiple times to different people, which was stressful. However, on the day of the wedding, the staff were incredibly polite and professional. The space itself was absolutely stunning - the perfect backdrop for our special day. The food service was also wonderful, and our guests raved about the quality of the meal. “My husband and I recently booked the Broderie Room for a small intimate wedding and could not be happier that we did. From start to finish, everything was perfect. We worked with Caroline Walker as our Day-of-Coordinator. She was fantastic! She was very easy to communicate with, asked plenty of questions during our walk through meeting to ensure she was prepared for the big day, and made sure everything flowed seamlessly during the ceremony. The Broderie Room and the Conservatory itself is just phenomenal. The spring flowers were beyond gorgeous and I can't say enough great things about the beauty throughout the entire building. We had an amazing experience and so appreciate Phipp's and Caroline for making our special day as perfect as it was.”

“We could not recommend our experience with the Doubletree enough. Our coordinators were fantastic, the food was delicious and we got to know many of the hotel staff by name over the course of our weekend (the front desk, the chef, custodian, etc.). They were also super professional and communicative regarding both our two postponements due to COVID19 and a coordinator staffing change over our time working with the venue. (Both our first and second coordinators were great!) You will be hard-pressed to find a venue of this quality for a better price. Do yourself the favor and book here!”

The barn was beautifully decorated (not to mention the amount of other decorations they already had on-site was a great way to save money), and the rolling hills made a stunning backdrop for our ceremony and pictures (especially the photo-bombing alpacas). They were so incredibly kind and wonderful to work with throughout the process. One of the biggest perks was having the venue for the entire weekend, which made setting up and enjoying our day that much easier. “My husband and I had our wedding here on April 25, 2026 and it was the perfect venue for us! He has family in the area, and the location close to I-79 and I-80 made it accessible for travel. We had the opportunity to work with Jay (one of the owners) and Lexi (the venue coordinator), who were both amazing at supporting us through the 13 months of wedding planning. They are family owned and operated and allowed us to pick all the vendors we wanted. Plus, they made a number of upgrades since our initial tour in March 2025 (climate control, driveway, bridal and groom suites). They also had a ton of additional decorations we could use from previous couples. Especially on the day of the wedding, they went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect day. We ultimately had our wedding inside due to mud and cold temperatures, and they made that change happen without missing a beat. We cannot recommend Amazing Grace Barn enough--it was truly the perfect venue (and team) for us!”
