“Getting to have our wedding at Burke Mountain was so special! We could not have asked for a better weekend or wedding day. Alicia and her team are amazing and truly helped us bring our dream wedding to life. From the start, Alicia helped answer all of our questions (and we had many!) and helped us create the perfect day while always keeping our budget in mind. She provided detailed timelines and deadlines and helped us stay on track throughout the planning process. She was on top of all the details, both big and small, and even helped coordinate with each of our vendors. She was so great to work with! I'd also be remiss not to give Lou a shout-out! He worked so hard all weekend to make sure everything was set up for us, from the chairs and tables in the reception space to bringing the mums we had for the ceremony up to the site for us. Not only are Alicia, Lou, and the rest of their team incredibly organized, but they are all so kind! All weekend, we had staff offering to help, asking what we needed, and doing the same for our guests. While our entire wedding was everything we dreamed of and more, it was truly the people who helped make our wedding weekend so special, and that includes the team at Burke Mountain. In addition to the incredible team, the venue itself was stunning. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful, sunny fall day, and our guests were in awe of the views from both the mountain/pavilion site and the hotel. The space was comfortable, the food was delicious, and we loved that our guests could stay at the hotel if they chose to. We would absolutely recommend Burke Mountain to anyone looking for a wedding venue. We are so grateful we got to celebrate our wedding there!”

“Absolutely — here’s a polished version that still feels personal and heartfelt: We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Loon Mountain and the incredible team who made our wedding day absolutely magical! From management to the entire staff, everyone was fantastic to work with from start to finish. They were kind, accommodating, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we had hoped for. With rain on the radar, the team worked with us and moved things around to make sure we were still able to have our ceremony at the summit — something that meant so much to us. We are incredibly grateful for the effort they put into making it happen. And in the end, the overcast weather made the mountain even more beautiful. The views were breathtaking, and our photos came out looking absolutely majestic against the mountains and clouds. It honestly felt like something out of a dream. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and made for such a unique and unforgettable wedding experience. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful Loon was and how special it was to take the gondola up the mountain for our ceremony. The food was also fantastic! A huge kudos to the chef and culinary team — everything was delicious and beautifully done. Our wedding day was truly the most magical day, and Loon Mountain was such a huge part of making it that way. We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place to get married or a better team to have behind us. We will forever be grateful to everyone at Loon for giving us a day we will never forget. If you’re considering a mountain wedding, Loon is an incredibly special place.”

“Sunday River has always held a special place in our hearts—it’s where my husband and I met and started our relationship—so there was truly no question where we would get married. From start to finish, the Sunday River Wedding Company made our dream day a reality. We hosted our entire wedding weekend at the Jordan Hotel, which was absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. Having our rehearsal dinner, welcome party, ceremony, and reception all in one central location was an absolute game-changer for our guests and made the entire weekend feel like a seamless, stress-free experience. The natural beauty of the venue is unmatched; our wedding was in late September, and the leaves had just started to turn, creating jaw-dropping foliage that framed our ceremony. You truly cannot beat the mountain views from the ceremony spot—it was breathtaking. What made the experience even better was the incredible team and their commitment to personal service. Our wedding coordinator went above and beyond, taking the time to truly get to know us and understand our vision. She personally helped with the decor setup and brought my ideas to life even better than I had imagined. I had mentioned wanting a seating chart that looked like a Sunday River trail map, and while I had explored options on Etsy, the resort actually designed a custom one for us that was stunning and perfectly captured our history with the mountain. The hospitality throughout the weekend was top-tier, starting with the food, which was absolutely out of this world. Our banquet manager provided the best service we could have asked for, and I felt completely supported throughout the entire reception. Being checked on and cared for by the staff allowed us to actually stay in the moment and enjoy ourselves. Sunday River went above and beyond to make our day special, and the time they took to understand us as a couple really stood out. If you want a venue with world-class customer service in a location you truly cannot beat, I cannot recommend the Sunday River Wedding Company enough!”

“Originally when I saw the inn I wasn’t sold, it’s slightly dated (but charming) and would be a bit far for friends and family (we live in Boston and family all over) but their responsiveness and flexibility sold us. They were so nice and so accommodating the entire way. We loved that people could stay on site ( but no minimum night stay requirement) or could stay at b&b or Airbnb in town. The activities like the pool and golf were great too. Everything, including the weather was perfect. We did a tented wedding which I loved, I didn’t like that cocktail hour was near the parking lot, but in the end it really didn’t matter. The food was excellent, they let us really chose anything we wanted and made it happen. They made the signature cocktails just like we requested and they were so delicious. Everyone on site was so incredibly friendly from bar tenders to servers. Jonathan was an awesome day of coordinator and really made sure it was smooth and easy, the staff did all the setting up and it looked beautiful. All our guests loved the bethel inn too! During our process the inn did get bought by a larger company but we never noticed any change in our planning and process. I’m not sure if they are going to continue to have weddings under new management but if they do- I say do it! Loved it so much! We took photos at their boat house and they were so kind to prepare a canoe and clean it, our photographers were impressed!”
