We got married at Golden Pine in April. What a beautiful land with such great outdoor and indoor spaces for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing. We originally planned to have our ceremony outdoors, but last minute the weather shifted, and we decided to move it inside. What could have felt like a stressful change ended up being one of the most magical decisions, we were completely in awe of how beautiful, intimate, and heart-opening the space felt indoors. And when the rain cleared, we still got to enjoy the breathtaking outdoor setting and sunset. Shmuley, the owner, is such a kind and genuine soul. Working with him was so easy and comfortable. He was supportive, flexible, and truly cared about making sure everything went smoothly for us. And it did! Our wedding day went better than we ever expected. The combination of Golden Pine with some really great vendors created something truly unforgettable. The land, the space, the people all came together like a dream. We will forever hold this place in our hearts and recommend it to anyone looking for a venue that radiates beauty, presence, and soul.

The Grand Lady

4.7

Manor, TX
  • Up to 250 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $25,000

The Grand Lady is a historic Austin estate reimagined for modern celebrations. Set just 20 minutes from downtown, our 1880s mansion blends timeless architecture with sprawling green lawns, towering oaks, and beautifully designed event spaces. Whether you’re dreaming of an intimate garden ceremony, a vibrant outdoor cocktail hour, or a lively reception under twinkling lights, The Grand Lady was made for unforgettable gatherings. Couples love the blend of historic charm and modern amenities, with thoughtful touches that make every celebration feel personal. At The Grand Lady, we believe weddings should feel like you: joyful, welcoming, and full of life. Our team is here to make the planning process seamless, so you can focus on what matters most, celebrating with the people you love.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Flexible event spaces
  • Offers full flexibility in setup and decor
  • Allows pets

Venue considerations

  • No free parking
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Best for events with big guest lists
We got married at the Grand Lady in late March 2026. It was the only venue we toured, but it was exactly what we were looking for, so we booked our date within a couple days of our tour. We loved the architecture of the mansion with the stained glass throughout and especially the green bathroom upstairs. The bridal suite is bright with tons of natural light, and the downstairs is perfectly moody. The house has so much character in every detail and has its own presence and personality. The reception hall is a perfect blank canvas with a modern feel that we could make our own. We loved the large windows at the back with a view into the trees. Our absolute favorite part, however, was the flower farm behind the buildings. It is a bit of a walk back there (and slightly treacherous in heels and a giant dress), but the walk is so worth it. By late March, the flower farm was full of brightly colored flowers, and we did our first look and most of our photos with family and the wedding party back there. We went with the on-site floral team who were an absolute joy to work with. Kaitlyn helped bring our vision of a brightly colored Texas wildflower theme to life. She used a wide variety of farmed flowers to recreate the colorful vibe and uniqueness that goes along with the (somewhat odd) Texas wildflowers. The Grand Lady has a list of required vendors. For the caterer and the wedding planner, it was required to choose from their list. Most of the vendors we worked with were from their recommendations and were great. The one issue we had was that some of their policies changed and we weren’t notified. We booked the venue 16 months ahead of time, and over that period, a few of the policies and vendors changed. For example, the required Bar & Bev provider changed at some point, but we didn’t realize until about a month and a half before the wedding. At this point, we had already put down a deposit and chosen a signature cocktail. We weren’t notified directly about the vendor change, but figured it out when we were trying to contact the old vendor. In the future, I hope the Grand Lady notifies anyone who has already booked a date whenever policies change (especially if it was in the signed contract). Despite a couple of road bumps, the Grand Lady was an awesome venue. It’s absolutely stunning with a specific charm. It beautifully changes with the season, but truly shines in the Spring. Our guests loved walking back to the flower farm and taking pictures during the cocktail hour, and we got so many comments about how much they loved the venue. It is a beautiful venue that helped our wedding feel so special.

The people at Twin Oaks handled everything with ease! They were available and eager to help get our wedding started. The Twin Oaks Resort had a spectacular space for our outdoor wedding and inside reception at the Dance Hall which was beyond what I can imagine for my wedding! The outdoor space was beautifully decorated and built - I loved the handmade chandelier! Everyone was happy and enjoyed the venue. Wild Roots was absolutely the perfect venue for my wife and I’s wedding! Joe and Mona are so helpful and communicative and dedicated to helping us have the perfect day. We paid extra to have them help set up and take down and it was so worth it for the peace of mind! We also paid to rent out the accommodations for our family and bridal party which was so nice and special to spend even more time with our family and friends instead of finding our way home after. It was a magical day and I cannot recommend them enough!

We booked this hotel due to it being close to a meeting we had that afternoon. We asked for an early check in to iron clothing and they most definitely obliged! Jacoby at the front desk was so incredibly helpful and accommodating, he even helped me print important documents out while also assisting new guests checking in. He was so informative and friendly, 50 stars to him! Your valet team, WOW, some of the most outstanding gentlemen we have ever met! They were so eager to help us and accommodate our needs, didn't take more than 3 minutes to retrieve our car when we needed it! Jordan and Ricky and the rest of the team were so sweet and helpful! The staff here would be the reason we returned being Hilton Honors Members for 24 years now! Lucia and the chef upstairs made incredible wings and served us prosecco and a Stella while we waited for our food. We enjoyed her energy and attentiveness, as well as the chef being so friendly! Great place to stay! Mind you that valet is the only way to park in the garage below and it is 67ish dollars for 8 hours or more but we'll worth it! Highly recommend!

Absolutely LOVED having our wedding at Two Wishes! We chose the venue for the privacy and space it gave us (almost 200 people) and allowed us to bring our dog. The weather was perfect and we were able to have the reception outside. Between the beautiful barn and stunning outdoor area with dance floor/stage under twinkling lights, the night was so magical and exceeded all our expectations. The bridal suite was by far the best I had seen at any venue. It's basically it's own house with a big beautiful open room with lots of mirrors/chairs/outlets, perfect for a large group, and SO MUCH much natural light. Also has a giant porch with an amazing view and a full bathroom so we could shower. We also appreciated the flexibility of their staff and how accommodating they were. We adored the venue manager Janeen who was so kind and easygoing. They even allowed us to bring six adoptable dogs from a rescue group I volunteer with to our cocktail hour (on top of our own dog). It was so much fun and gave the rescue so much exposure. Hard to imagine many other venues that would allow this and we are so grateful!
