With so many venues to choose from, we got married at The Sanctuary in Long Beach and when I say our wedding was stunning, I mean it. We will cherish the day forever. Wedgewood made the entire process so incredibly easy, it almost felt too good to be true. But it was true! All we had to do was make the final decisions and our team took care of the rest of it. We showed up, got married, had an amazing party with amazing food and drinks and had the time of our lives. Not only did we love our wedding, our guests loved it as well. We got so many compliments on how beautiful our decor was and how smoothly everything went. As a bride, I was so nervous about our timeline going the way it was supposed to, but our wedding coordinator, Fumi made sure everything was on track. Fumi made our day so much better and my bridal party loved her. She made me believe that the most important thing was that I married my husband. I highly recommend Wedgewood Weddings. There are no loopholes, their pricing is reasonable and you are able to express yourself freely with them and plan your perfect wedding day. Their communication style throughout the planning process was easygoing, fast response, knowledgeable and helpful. They responded to all our questions promptly and really helped guide us through the details. The venue itself was clean, modern and had a classic elegance that perfectly suited our wedding vision. The staff was professional, caring and facilitated great flow and a welcoming atmosphere on our big day. We had our wedding reception at Bluewater Grill in Redondo Beach, and it was truly everything we could have hoped for and more. The Event Manager, Vida, was absolutely incredible. She made the entire process seamless from start to finish. Leading up to the event, she was always clear, responsive, and organized, and when a few of our personal hiccups came up the day before, she immediately stepped in with solutions. She even went above and beyond by offering to handle items we had planned to manage ourselves, which took so much stress off our plate. On the day of the wedding, we were completely blown away. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely wonderful to work with. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was, it truly exceeded expectations. And the setting…you simply can’t beat it. The ocean views and sunset through the windows created the most magical atmosphere for our special day. Our wedding was unforgettable, and we owe so much of that to Vida and her team. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, stress free, and truly special experience.

I loved working with Robin at the Sonesta Hotel. She was an excellent event manager who cared for all our needs and was very accommodating. I had one problem that had nothing to do with Robin or the Sonesta: Someone on the wedding coordinator's staff stole my wallet during the event. We hired Koral, the wedding coordinator, which was our responsibility. Overall, it was a beautiful venue with excellent hotel staff. I would recommend the Sonesta 100%.

** you cannot edit your vendor Zola review and this is an edit to give our initial review 5 FIVE STARS** When we were looking for where to host our wedding reception an intimate unique setting that would be a great time with full open bar and great food was what we were looking for about 200. Staff was excellent day of. Food was wonderful guests said. Venue was beautiful for photos and weather behaved in January so we got to watch the sunset. Everything was amazing w Portofino. Price was excellent for what we got and in SoCal on the water venue “boutique hotel.” My only critique is doing room blocks and anything to do with their computer system accounting takes a second and is a little out dated takes two days or so- but I like to get things done or get emails asap so that’s just me. Other than that wonderful place will be going back to stay at hotel! Amazing reception! Exactly what we were looking for! Rain is also exceptionally friendly, patient and communicative so ask for him !
