“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“Our reception was everything we could've dreamed of and more all thanks to Follow the Sun! While we were exploring our options for a live band we got a recommendation to check out FtS, so we went to see them perform live and we knew right away they were the band for us. They are incredibly talented musicians and the band has great chemistry. They bring great energy and get the crowd going. And that was all just from observing before we even spoke with them regarding booking! FtS goes above and beyond to provide a customized experience. Once we inquired about booking they made the whole process so easy and fun for us. We met to discuss our vision for our day, and they were so accommodating as well as provided great insight for us from their experience with other weddings. They have an amazing set list of songs to choose from. Over the weeks leading up to the wedding, any questions we had they were quick to respond and so kind. We had custom requests with family traditions/songs and FtS were able make it all fit seamlessly into the evening. Our dancefloor was packed all night because of the incredible job the band did. We are so thankful and would highly recommend them to any couple interested in live music for their big day. He gave us a questionnaire to fill out as well as a web portal to add all of our preferred and must play songs to. Including all of the first dance and introduction songs. For the reception he brought an awesome stage with a custom light up screen with our names on it. He really knows how to transition between different songs to create a fun flow to the night. A great mix of high energy songs and slow dancing songs. He even brought glow sticks for us to dance with as a throw in. Brandon Brooks helped make our night one that we will remember forever.
