My beauty journey started when I was about 4 years old.That’s when I helped myself to my mother’s lipsticks—which weren’t easy to come by in those days! I decided that day -and all days- should be Halloween, and I painted my face accordingly. As I grew, my love affair with makeup intensified. When I was a teenager, I would wear heavy, smoky eye makeup. I’ve grown out of that stage, having come to appreciate natural beauty. It’s natural beauty that I focus on now. But don’t get me wrong! I still love a wide palate of colors and working on creative photoshoots, pictorial projects, and editorial pieces.

Our business is the brainchild of two best friends who recognized a gap in the market for diversity and inclusion. We truly believe that every woman, regardless of her hair texture or skin color, deserves to feel absolutely beautiful on her wedding day.
