In 2016, I started looking for creative alternatives to fresh flowers. I saw an advertisement for WOOD flower arrangements and was intrigued. I quickly ordered a centerpiece and when it arrived, I was so amazed by the product that I took the flowers apart to see how they were made. It was fascinating to me that someone would think to use the wood from a plant to make flowers. Fast forward a couple months and I started ordering raw undyed flowers, dove in headfirst, and fell in love! I started Windward Blooms after moving to Windward Farm, a historic property in Shepherdstown West Virginia. By the time we moved here I had already started my floral design journey, first by falling in love with gardening, and then by practicing my floral design. We opened Windward Blooms in 2022 and have been providing high end floral design ever since!
