After some time and a BIG push Project 8 was finally created. Project 8 was named after the town Mark was born in the Philippines. In the 1950s & 60s, The Bronx was home to an amazing photographer that captured weddings and family events. His name? Warren Meurer aka the “Silverfox” (due to his flowing silver and gray locks). Fast forward to the early 1990s, Warren’s grandson, John Salkowsky, decided to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and open a wedding photography and video studio. I Love what I do! The nostalgia, the heartfelt memories, Mom's tears on the wedding day, all of it! My favorite part of my job is how often I cry during those loving moments, it's honestly the best! I love bringing positive vibes to my couples, with the hopes that I can relieve some of the stress that can occur during the wedding day. DewyFilms sprouted from a youtube channel for silly videos into what it is today. My dad called me Dewy when I was little, so I figured I'd lean into that and make it something big!

New York certified Teacher who started my own Videography Company to help others remember their Big Day through documenting it the best I can. Through working with industry leading people and equipment over the last 5 years my process has helped me serve over 80 couples to this day.
